I guess it sort of does. If anyone here has played Cataclysm, then you'll probably get the jist of the Zombie/Infection/Virus thing, more or less. We'll work the details of the RP out later.
So yes. We should be able to do Zombies. Why the hell not?
Half the things linked here are yours, and the ones that aren't... Aren't even that far-fetched.
Zombies is another matter.
Knowing as you do how Discovery works, I don't see how you'd feel people would actually accept this, unless your brain was even more fried in your absence.
It dosen't have to be "classic" zombies. But considering Discovery is basically a sci-fi kitchen sink, what with various cyborgs, AIs, telepaths, psyonic cyborg experaments, catgirls (that I created), furries (that I didn't), Whatever Brakelabaasta is/was, etc.
It just needs to be some "Mysterious Zombie-like thing" to act as a macguffin for the event. If someone wants to carry on the research on just what it is/was later, that can be an RP plot for a later date.
Would be something for Conny silliness. Not sure if something like this has a place in Disco RP.
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.
Mostly retired Discovery member. May still visit from time to time.
We could go on a tangent about weather or not it's "Silly", which would invariably lead to one of those philosophical/flamebait "What is good RP?" threads we have o' so many of, invariably exploding into an image war, with Del then stepping in, and getting sent to Flood.
We could do this in Connecticut, sure. The main reason I want to do it in RP is so it leaves more of an imprint. We had events like the "Starfleas vs the LNS San Fransisco" event, or the Nomad Race, or other assorted stuff, but I simply want some degree of congruency with the wider world, Silly or not.
Also, we had Phantoms at one point. They were silly. So by that logic, we should do Zombies anyway.
