Let's make the BS scanner fun and maybe quite useful

Reason to have it now is that it has higher range in nebulas that otherwise reduce the range.

Well in the end a adv cargo scanner is the best choice regardless of nebulae or not. the bs scanner serves no real point. However it should still be a REQUIREMENT for capships to have it mounted, like in the good old days

A BS scanner is kinda useless as of now.

Seeing as I'm paying 200 mils for a only slightly larger cargo scan range than an Adv. Cargo Scanner at the fraction of the price.

Make them worthwhile at least, or make them a necessity on Battleships. Good old days are good.

Oh its very useful, some of the nebulas cut scanner range a BUNCH and having the BS scanner means you can see things that nobody else sees.

It's not 200 million useful, but all this stuff is one-time-payment so after the one-time hurt you dont care anymore.

Most of the ship add-on pieces need a rethink. CDs, CMs, scanners, armor, all of it pretty much.
