How about RP'ing Conn to be a training simulation, instead of a "system"?
And why should guard systems be ooRP?
I don't realy get your point here . ...
Do you actualy keep tracking on the time player spend in different sistems vs Conn ? Or you just dont have any bussiness at all ?
Just asking , that because i heard you yesterday yealing all over Sirius because people were in Conn ...
Pointless unless you have facts / reason / specific player name
Otherwise , mind your own bussiness please .
Btw - i balance my presence in Conn with my poor RP as it is .
Considering that Conn is one of the reasons some factions still have official faction status, and the fact that many Official factions are dying of inactivity, axing conn for official faction members would kill most non-liberty factions.
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
Well, as they shouldn't get their activity into "safety" by /conn anyways....it would be nice to know how the new rule of "properly balance your ingame time" is resolved....
A faction that generates 25 h in conn and the other 5 in rp systems should be rightfully axed, though a faction that has i dunno 28 h of activity and fills up the remainder with conn time should be ok.....10-20% conntime should be ensuring that there is enough presence of official dudes in in rp systems...
why not just exclude conn. from server activity rather then talking about removing it or not allow access to certain taged ship names?
it's a good system for learning how to handle a new ship you just bought[or weapon config],but afterall it's not a rp system and should not count as if would be.
Rodnas Wrote:That would be the most elegant solution of all, no clue if doable though
well..if it's not[or more time consuming] then make it so that when you enter connecticout system your name will change to some random thing[+number] so it wont count toward the tag counter
People want to believe that God has a plan for them.
They don't wanna believe that anyone else does..

No, no, no. You didn't got my point. All I wanted to say was, that official factions should limit their members online time in Connecticut. I'm not tracking anyone's time, nor do I care who those people actually are. I was just a bit disappointed to see so many of them, doing training there, instead of doing some Roleplay within thei zone of influence. So that people who are interested in RP encounters, can find them where they are supposed to be. In my opinion, at least officials should represent a more critical view towards their members spending time there. All this was just a reminder - a pleasant request. But as already said; I've expected answers like yours, since this really is a sensitive topic.

That's a cowardly accusation. I've you're having a personal problem with me, you can PM me any time. Reading such unproven nonsense makes me rather sad than angry.
No, of course I haven't done what he said...

Once more: Originally the topic wasn't about a removal, but a limitation for officials, which would be nice if it'd be encouraged by the official faction leaders.
A pity, that this thread is going a wrong way.
Anyways, back to the posted suggestion: I don't think that any official rule would be a wise change. I'm referring to the players themselves. It'd be great, if people would focus more on the roleplay instead of venting their bad temper about the lack of player numbers, by sticking to pvp combats.
I doubt that people join official factions to hang around in Connecticut. I'm not accusing anyone for it. It's just my very own point of view.
Some people go to Connecticut just to relax from RP , fly free and play football with Bretonian BS leftovers:blush: ,some to improve their skillz ,some to make sure their name will be remembered in PvP society among other tagged players ,some to troll....etc. But some other matter concerns me that I see more and more non-tagged players online ....as I remember Disco was full of "life" or may I say full of interesting RP events and stuffs like that back in the dayz ,and people was friendlyer helping new players and recruiting them in their crew ,mby it's only my experiance but I didn't play FL over 4 years and I know alot has changed but still I needed to search like crazy to find someone to help me out a bit to catch up ...again this is my experience ...not saying there isn't people who would like to help just there is so lil of them around viewing from my perspective ....
Some tagged people are just bored of their faction RP coz there is noting interesting going on mostly of they play time ....
