Wow...So the rheinland Battleship sucks compared to the only list posted?

Depends... In fleet battles the turtle is really great to have on your side to soak damage, especially if you are in a Rheinland Carrier or Cruiser. Put a cloak on that baby and use it wisely to get in close on your enemy, and you're golden. Its huge size is what makes it bad for 1 vs 1, and it doesn't fire all heavy turrets forward either.

It depends on how you use them. I've made my list by my preference.

Only if you can press keys "A" and "D" only ( or strife left/right ) .
For those who can realy know how to fly a BS , you can put also Legate and Turtle there , somewhere between rank 3-5 .

Also , if you want a BS for Connecticut only , choose number 1-3 , else - depends more on what are you going to do with the BS , heavy BS will rip apart anything else if they are used wise and in a good coordination .

That is not a flame to your preferences , dont get me wrong .

Erm, define the role and scenario, under which your proposed battleship should operate.

aka, anti-BS role, fleet support, who are your adversaries?

For example, Valor is pretty good at killing other battleships, but it's secondary slot aim is totally horrible, so you won't provide much fire support against gunboat-sized ships, and smaller ones.

Still, I can split them into several roles.

1) Anti heavy-battleship warfare - LiDread, Togo, Mako, Valor, KuBS. First 3 are usually impossible to kill with heavy caps, if the fight starts at distance, and both sides have CDers. Cloaks aside, that is. You can also put Jorm here, pretty descent at that role.
2) Fleet Fire support - Liberty Carrier, RMBS, KuBS, Ranseur, Elbe (unique ship - the only light battleship capable of good fire support. can't shoot it's 10's backwards, though)
