I know space sims are more game than actual simulators, but wouldn't it be awesome to have realistically sized planets and longer interplanet distances etcetera? And I would like very much not to explode if I decided I wanted to go into and explore a uncolonized planet
Ridiculous Notion #2: The fl modding community politely asks Chris Roberts to donate part of the profits he makes off RSI (and with donations from everyone else), to buy the source code from M$ and make Freelancer open source. Chris Roberts says yes as long as every freelancer game, mod or not, must contain the words "Chris Roberts". The community agrees, and everyone is happy.
