"Those guns are coming with me, Admiral. I'm not moving until all three of you turn them over." She said, standing up, putting herself between Hemlock and Sader and his marines.
On the far side of the medbay, Murray entered with another operative by her side. She had her typical LSF themed Navy jacket, as well as what looked like a small shortsword clasped to her hip. She started making tracks towards Hemlock, but turned her eyes towards Sader and his men, instantly clenching a fist and gripping the hilt of her blade. She stopped nearly as far from him as Nova. "Admiral... I thought I was clear about weapons in my AO. Do you not remember the talk we had, or are you this ignorant and just don't care?"
Hemlock sat back and watched, which was all he could do. Reyes merely kept herself leaned forward, only her head visible as she was leaned towards the bed. "Go get 'em.."
Nova remained in her place. "I am leading this investigation, that means anything regarding it, I do have authority over. You have proven yourself to be a liability when it comes to interfering with my work and are causing more damage than good. One of two things will happen, all four of you will turn over your weapons, or I'll temporarily strip you of authority and have you escorted out of my investigation site. Am I clear?" She looked upon the four, showing no tolerance for the weapons, not even Murray's sword. She motioned and Phoenix and another operative stepped forward, behind her.
Murray unclipped the sheath from her belt, setting it down on a nearby table and leaving it be. "I'm almost certain that Admiral Jones wouldn't have any problem supporting a safety rule inacted by the commanding officer of this fleet's R&D department. An officer that you elected yourself."
She looked to the two operatives and Phoenix. "Secure their weapons as well as my own and turn them in to the quartermaster."
"Oh really Nova? Unfortunatly i have to inform you that you are relieved from this investigation. I want you to hand over any and all collected data recordings of the interrorgations to my office. So now that this is settled could everyone exept Hemlock get out of here."
He took out his weapon and gave it to the marine standing next to him.
"Phoenix, Amber, looks like its time for lunch." Nova smirked, walking to the door, her two operatives in unison behind her. "Good luck getting anything from him. Expect NIS men soon." The three operatives departed.
"Are you stupid?""You honestly think he can run this investigation? Murray won't play ball now, I give it a day or so before he orders us back. Hemlock will never talk to him, not now.""Pretty bold, boss.."
Murray stood fast, as well as Reyes, who was still next to Hemlock. She looked to the marines, hands on her hips. "My rule still stands, Sader. You lot. You're going to take every single weapon in this room and take the m to the quartermaster down at the far end of the sector. Then you're not going to come back, and are instead going to leave our beloved Admiral here so that he can talk to Hemlock without the risk of danger to anyone."
She looked back at Sader. "Am I clear?"
