The different ID rule is for official factions Bindo. However, all of their pirate ID'd ships cannot use Council tech due to the red cell, that part is correct.

EDIT: Nowhere in the link above does Igiss differentiate between Official and unofficial. It would seem he simply considers a faction a faction; although i am not sure how old/relevant that is in todays rules implementation.

Stop grasping at straws. You'll notice those are under "Faction Creation Rules." This implies it is for factions seeking official status.

Hm, somehow the development is sobering. And somehow the direction in which things are going is not good.

Looking at the whole mess from a rather uninvolved position (we only had friendly pewpew, mostly interesting and seldom not fun) I'd suggest one thing to clean it up:

Why don't you consider just...

...getting rid of the Merc wing (it's just generic and the 100th random faceless merc wing shooting in Taus)
...getting rid of the Gallic stuff (it's oorp, it just is, and people hate it)
...returning to the very good Ku-Ex
...being normal pirates, with normal guns again
...returning to a "no 10-pages-feedback trouble" stage again?
...repairing your damaged relations with the few people who you want not to be hostile with.

Think about it. I think it would do your faction well.

I'd rather have a faction that has perhaps 2,5 % less firepower (I still say, the Ku-Ex is much better than the Gallic Asco) than seeing the Renegades go down in the hail of criticism.

Imho, the basic idea behind Rorry's RP could've fit the role of a "schizophrenic lone pirate who thinks he is a king and has followers and whatnot" much more than someone who actually does have some followers and buzz.

During the past few months, I generally stopped caring about Rorry's RP but seeing as how this thread is under some serious feedback, maybe I should jump the bandwagon and drop my 0.02 just for the sake of it.

Rorry's RP lately been on the very edge of the meta and power gaming if not over it. It makes me wonder... How can a bunch of smalltime pirates who appeared out of nowhere less than a year ago can InRp pose a threat (Which in practice they don't) to every single faction in the Omegas? Even the Corsairs with their full force can't fend off the Hessian forces in Omegas, so how can these came-out-of-nowhere-RR oppose Sairs, Hessians, IMG and Rheinland federal forces at the same time? "How cool you think you are" and "How cool you really are" are two totally different subjects. I wouldn't have cared even one bit if you RPed it like you think you're so cool... But from what I've seen lately, you're RPing it as you actually are as cool as you say you are - Which doesn't make sense at all.

As another example, I'm rather interested in your RP justification on how a smalltime gang of pirates have the ability to reverse-engineer and mass-produce some of the top-notch tech in Sirius, which in some cases even the holding faction kinda lacks the supplies to mass-produce them. Which brings up the question - Where is your shipyard in the first place? Going to LH~ and asking blueprints of their guns so you can "easily mass-produce em yourself" just makes me laugh as a third person witnessing your attempt. And then, it makes me wonder why people even play along with it.

I understand that you are a bunch of Joker/Thug-wannabes, but the very small detail you're missing is that Joker actually worked for the shiny toys and the reputation he got. What you're doing however, which is what you've been doing from the very beginning, is self-proclaiming your awesomeness and expecting others to play along... Which ain't cool, at all. And your dishonesty in an ooRp aspect adds to that as well...

All and all, if you ask me, one thing Rorrys need to do to repair their broken InRp and ooRp reputation is toning down and starting to actually work up their way to where they want to be, not self-proclaiming themselves the most powerful and well-developed faction in whole colonies and expecting others to play along, and calling whoever doesn't an ooRp grudge-***.

We don't claim to be some powerful faction at all. We're not claiming to be "cool". Rorry is deranged, this is made clear throughout his bio...

We worked VERY hard for our Brigand tech, the pages of reports on Rheinland, the Bounties collected, and the infomation gleened.

We worked VERY hard for out 2 OC Tridents, killing numorous Corsairs and running Cardi in the background.

We worked hard for our Council tech, several pages of back and forth RP between the two groups. Now take a look at say the Reavers 1/2 post requests and they get access far easier than we do (example- Hackers).

Also, we're nothing like Joker/Thug folks.... Where did this idea spring from?

If you wish to look into our RP concerning our production of arms. Look into our communications with the Junkers and the usage of their shipyard, also take a look into the Bio's of Alan Write. Again, a TON of thought/work/RP has been put into all this.
