Well, I don't think Smugglers are fool enough to use Lanes, not because Cops can do their TLAGSnet thingie, but because they are expected to get caught in the lanes due to heavy traffic near lanes.

Plus Police corps not logging now days has nothing to do with TLAG... I think this perk makes role-playing a police character more fun.

A nerfed version for lane hackers to balance their absence of caps might be good. Nerfed cos they have to hack to get it, rather than have direct access to it like cops.

Maybe it only works on a 1/10 chance or something?

That suggests people with smuggler characters are still out there taking lanes and police have still work to do.

Cops not logging in-game has no relation with TLAGSnet in any way whatsoever.

TLAGSNET was added for Police, to give benefit over Navy. Nor Hackers, nor Ageira, nor Interspace need such thing.
