Wraga you have the point about pirates and traders in same. But cant impose by enforcment people to RP . there are be always people who doesnt understand RP as far as pay or die ...

But there is always one good tip how to make those kind of people DanG!

if you are pirate and trader ignores by silence you can always say - pitty i was in good mood didnt want to tax at all, but dont like ignorant fools...

If you are trader and pirate acts poor rp you pay and say - pitty i wanted to contribute to the (pirate faction) cause even more, but blabla...

And in both cases expirienced plazers reward others for good RP its not just phrase. LEt those poor RP evaders feel that thez miss some opportunity to have more fun and more credits cause thez dont wanna interact.

Being silent isn't OORP, maybe the character is a mute or simply doesn't want to speak to someone trying to rob them?

It is becoming quite popular type of character these days it seems. Muted spaceship pilots and captains everywhere. That training program for disabled people works really great.

Ok, I realize your being sarcastic here, but as aide supervisor for ABI/TBI and DD adults, that crosses a line. Blanket statements like that cause more harm in the intellectually limited adult community then just flat out insulting them to there face. I'm not trying to step on your free speech (text/posting) rights here, just requesting that you tone down your references a notch or two please.

To the above, calling them "Intellectually Limited" sounds more offensive than disabled. Just saying.

Anyways.

I really don't see why everyone complains about silent traders. Seriously, just take action into your own hands rather than hop on and complain the instant they cruise away.

You could try:
Shooting them.

Shooting their hull down and forcing them to pay repairs (Kind of lulzy on smaller ships, but on larger trading vessels this is actually quite a damage to their income).

Stalking the route and getting your P-buddies in on blowing them up should they continue their silent ways. Yeah, this is really a scumbag move, but it should get the message across. Obviously they aren't learning from all the posts on the forums, because let's face it, they probably don't acknowledge the forums.


Pirates are allowed to start shooting if traders do not comply with demands. I don't know why everyone has started panicking because cashcows suddenly start taking the piracy personal. Just step up your game and re-assert your pirate-y-ness in-game.

Then again, this is coming from someone who has run into a total of one silent trader ever, so take my advice for what you will.
