Yeah we were just talking in the Order chat about the Corsairs and the Orders and the Butterflies. Most of the things are incorrect. But the fact is as I stated above, lanes were built by the Ageira and.... I hate to repeat myself, just read the damn comment....

Or even better, leave the thread yourself and let people who aren't parrots that repeat their self-appointed "solid arguments" over and over again discuss stuff.

#removegallia
One of explanation was that junkers were sent by gallia to spy in every house of sirius. Junkers gave some info to gallic crown that decide to ignore them like they had no power anymore on them. One of this information was how to build trade lanes. After, how junkers got this, i dont know.
AGEIRA, the VALHALLA ONE'S research team, work in cooperation with DSE and IC and have built the lanes in ALL house systems, Tech was eventually sold or stolen. Now the ONLY companies and factions that could build trade lanes ARE as it goes:
Liberty and Bretonia - Ageira/DSE
Rheinland-DHC presumably as they are in war with lolberty and they have built the Gate in Omega 11 as well as are buying large amount of trade lane parts on Solaris Station.
Kusari-????? Kishiro maybe? Same bloody reasons....
Gallia - ???????? again what the hell is that bark of a Gallia doing here?
NOTE! About 80% of ALL the GATES and LANES in the SIRIUS sector are built by AGEIRA in cooperation with IC and DSE.
How to hell would the junkers get such an info like how to build trade lanes/jump gates? And if they did, they should be the richest faction in the whole Sirius as major companies use the info for themselves and don't sell it to anyone else. And most definitely not to pirates. Than why are they just simple JUNKERS, SCRAP collectors and occasional PIRATES and not bankers and businessmen?
Here is some info for all of you to read: THIS & THIS
I write like THAT so that you would have a better UNDERSTANDING of things you know nothing about, because you haven't read even part of the SIRIUS SECTOR'S STORY.
This thread deserves to be CLOSED period.
The technology was never stolen, except on the single occasion that "some Gallic Junkers" managed to pierce 12 layers of plot armor and acquired the intel from Ageira's databases, offering/selling it to the Gallic Crown, who used its own companies to replicate the technology.
Not even the Lane Hackers, former Ageira employees on the original foundation, can claim more than being able to hack the tradelane telemetry systems, which is not represented in game (would be a tlags equivalent).
Ageira and it's subsidiaries (if any) are still the only ones who handle construction and maintenance of the tradelanes, which makes one wonder if there shouldn't be a decay of the same systems in regions that became unreachable to liberty corporations, like Leeds or most of the Taus, since the Gallic versions should not be truly compatible.
Neither DHC, Republican Shipping, Samura or Kishiro have the capability to reach the same technology level as Ageira without access to the ancient blueprints (The Valhalla archives, the Ageira plot armor). The most they can do is to attempt some sort of reverse engineering, which is difficult due to the alleged safeguards present on the tradelane parts, according to the infocards.
I would suggest that now that Leeds and most of the Taus are our of reach and sight of Liberty corps, Kusari and Rheinland corporations should try to exploit the still intact tradelanes to do some research on the subject, complemented with partnerships with Gallia producers.

Kusari and Rheinland nationalizations of the lane/gate networks was applied on the usage fees that were levied by IC.
It the equivalent of nationalizing the toll booths on the highways, not the constructions and maintenance services of the said highways.
How the hell would the Outcasts and Corsairs use the Lanes? There are asteroids EVERYWHERE, their caps are HUGE, and their systems are TINY.
It would be impossible to even place the lanes. Of course, you can place two lanes. But it's literally a waste of space.
Indeed, both Hispanic representives does not need trade lanes. Sure, they "could" make thouse eventualy. As you know, Corsairs has exclusive acess to alien artifacts. Some of thouse could be usefull, and together with the Order, they could creat their own exclusive trade lane and jump gate analog.
Same goes to Outcasts, who has (or had ) strong connection with nomads. Nomads, who are inheritated a lot of toys from Dom' kVash or how they are called, and possible, could give some knowledges to outcasts, if they would ask very very nice.
Both nations already adapted for long travel, and have very high surviveability in harsh enviroment, without trade lanes. There is no such trafic in Alpha or Gamma systems, like, for example in New Tokio (inRP ofcrs), no such intensive trading, and not that many base, located very far from each other.
About fleet movement... they rather use JD on their capital ships, which aren't so numerouse.
instead of adding new objects, creating a "hyper-drive" seems easier and well, better. I'd say 999speed that consumes the entire energy and requires 5-10 minutes to charge again. It goes without saying that it should only be available to caps - that much power requires energy, even in the fictional world. Then perhaps people would not cripple the devs on the sair-oc stuff ( and im one of them btw )

We're not adding human Trade Lanes to the Omicrons for various lore and gameplay reasons. Existing DK/Nomad infrastructure is fine as-is (subject to adjustments by Treewyrm at his discretion).
