Why the hell should I be suffering from the whole bunch of lawful NPCs in group fights somewhere far from their bases?
On my side, lack of NPC spawns is the problem (when server reaches 100 players), because sometimes I need NPCs to raise/lower my reputation with non-restarted faction and no NPC appears. I literally sat in one system for 15 minutes and no single NPC spawned.
Note it doesn't mean bribing a faction, because bribe may and will harm your unlawful reputation, what's bad for smugglers and shady traders (e.g. arms dealer).

Avoid planets then. ^.^ And certain bases. And thank God that NPCs don't have CDs anymore, as they used in the past (it was a nightmare, when 4 GB spawned). Also, no NPC fires faster than 2.0, so it's relatively very safe, even around capital ship spawns.
Give me the old NPCs.

Since the game is even more boring when the players are less RP-platforms than actual NPCs are. 8|
Seriously, give the NPCs their weapons back. ;_;
When there's like, 20 players logged, I can actually go and hunt the NPC pods for cash. And if not, at least give the NPCs out of cap-spawns the Vanilla ships. So they're easier to beat. They're already nerfed to 0% danger, so at least make it seem like they're new recruits with the old stuff. 8|
