How to become a nomad?

Well if you look at the nomad story I linked in the other nomad thread, you'll see all the in-game RP chat I did (actually that was only around half of it, a lot of stuff I didnt post because it wasnt relevant to character development).

So far, in my entire time here playing as an Order character, I've never seen more than two lines of in-game chat from any of the keepers. They are pvp whores, plain and simple, RP has nothing to do with them.

The most RP I ever saw from a keeper was while grouped and talking to keepers.kharybdis, with nomad.loki as my character at the time - the conversation is shown in that post. Outside of that, keepers display little to no RP in-game, and only have a couple of posts here on the forums about themselves. They arent setting a very good example for a hardcore-RP faction.

And again nothing personal Tenacity, but I think you should go look in the Keeper message dump.

Post 2 and post 4. Those are RP ones. I think you need to let it go and stop being so bitter.

Unless you're really determined to be in the Keepers, don't bother. They have like 10 people (very probably innacurate:P) in their ranks because they choose so little people. Maybe when I've played for a lot longer I'll choose to try making a Keeper, but until then I can wait. Good luck if you're gonna try though:D

P.S. It kind of gets on my nerves too that they turn down people with perfectly good applications and RP, but that's their choice.

yea, same with the phantoms and wild. "Your RP is better than ours, it's totally awesome, but we still dont like you so we wont let you join" pretty much explains it.

Play an order/outcast/corsair/zoner char and fly through the omicrons.
Learn about the nomads while playing.

When you think you know enough about them, try a new char with a nomad LF (sold at primus).

1, From a few posts back. "I had two stories with -excellent- RP" We'll be the judges of that:)
2, Reason being people don't see much RP from us is because their -shooting- at us. I've been personaly role playing my bottom off for the last few weeks. But everytime i entered a system other than alpha, something along the lines of "OMFG ONOZ KEEPER BRING OUT THE BATTLESHIP" came up.
3, "They arnt setting a very good example for a hardcore-RP faction." Oh, we are if you ask me. That's where all the filtering of stories and applications is about.

As Nathan said, stop being so bitter. If something doesn't fit your ways it doesn't mean that it's bad.

I don't see how we're bothering the guy that asked the question in the first place. We're just saying it's extremely hard to become a Nomad or member of a similar faction...
