Okay so I apply for your faction, get accepted and then I get a ROFL in your group chat and not added to it. What kind of GROUP IS THIS! Im surprised you havent got official. Kinda glad you havent now as well, you don't deserve it to be honest? Like wanting people to join you and people who get accepted don't even get into the chat and get a ROFL. SO MUCH GG!
I'd love to know who ROFL'D at you, and who didn't get into the "chat" please add your skype username to our inbox and I'll get you added and revise what problems you've been having.
To late dude, im gone, GG and good luck
Well i hope you aint left because of the GMG, because I'm trying to talk and get around who said what but you're not talking to me, you're not giving me any feedback. So good luck to you and you're gaming career. All I can say as Leader is I've tried.

What changes are you planning to make for the faction?
Quite a few, alot of the old things people are pointing out to be old, i.e contracts, or departments, factions ext, part of our official process is to conquer these mistakes and rectify them so it's a clean sheet. Not a new start, but a clean one.
How do you plan to retain your "activity"?
We're already doing this, as we argued to the admins regarding activity. When i took over as the GMG leader (Voted in via the current membership) we "The GMG" was 74th active in the player faction activity roster noted here: http://discoverygc.com/forums/serverinte...ion_status
Today, we're 12th.. Guess that half answers this question. How we're retaining it is teamwork, the old GMG just come on whenever, where as we ask members when to log, or create GMG events to collect helium or go on trade runs, its an in-house thing but its working and it keeps metagamers out of when we're active and when we're not.
Do you plan to change you current write up to make things more unique to the new leadership?
This one's a hard one to answer, simply because we don't want to touch the past of the GMG, because the old leadership did let this faction die, however honor among communities, their hard work simply cannot go deleted.
That being said, we do want to change and remove old contracts, factions, and promote new jobs, contracts, we've already changed the naming convention yes it didn't show at first and yes we're still adding to the roster of our members but slowly piece by piece it'll come together, not just with the leaderships involvement but the reason I threw it at the community so early and as people has suggested, cut it and reboot, my answer is no. Simply because I want the community's input on how we should deal with our RP to one better the RP here, and two to host the best GMG faction we can give.
I hope this answers your question.
Are you looking to create new relations with other factions? Or improve relations with factions?
We've already created new relations and ties with Kishiro and IMG, also working with IC regarding some individual POB's in Okinawa to promote GMG's welfare and their own. Secondly, we've RP'd the transaction of the Shuri Base with the Stone Brothers, finally giving them the keys to the base the've worked so hard on without asking for 1 sirius credit. But out of mutual respect.
Regarding other factions, we're working with dev's and kusari channels to get other factions haulers to GMG areas when we're mining to promote RP for us and them, plus it gives them a decent discount on their h-3. Good for all parties one may say?
I've known Bellck for over 11 years - I met him when I played FL online for the first time. This may have had something to with the fact that he was able to pull me out of 'retirement' to be the Director of Relations. The other is that I've always had an interest in the GMG, firstly because I come from mining country and know how hard-headed miners can be, and secondly as the winners of the 80 years war, the game reflected that.
I intensely dislike the idea of retconning anyone's efforts, as it's usually a permanent solution to a temporary situation, so large chunks of GMG-ness will not disappear, but certain aspects (hard-headed winners) may rise to the fore. I see the GMG has having a lot going for it - a ready supply of easy money from access to a restricted commodity, plenty of enemies to keep things interesting, far away sell points that maximise the chances of interaction, as well as a backstory that stretches back to vanilla - not bad for a bit-part faction in Trent's life.
The challenges the GMG will face are mostly internal. The long-standing players seem to have lost sight of the things that they can rightly be proud of, and losing official status has exacerbated this. Over-coming this ennui will be one of the main challenges for my character as the director of relations, who will desperately try not to sound like an enthusiastic camp counsellor.
We have a few RP opportunities on the near horizon. I don't want to jump the gun and steal someone else's thunder, but we hope to roleplay recent RL events and give them a RP-spin, to maintain continuity of the GMG canon, whilst moving in fresh and exciting directions.

Thanks for answering, hopefully that clears things up for people in a more structured way.
Quote:In the end the GMG stuck to what it was able to do best: obtain H-Fuel. Survey parties were always being sent out across the nebula stretch, randomly combing it in search for more gas deposits. It would be until 550 A.S. before these searches would finally bring fruit. The Sigma-19 system, abundant in gas pockets, was branded as the next logical expansion point for the Guild. With the location now selected came the question of awarding the construction contract. While Samura pushed to renegotiate their H-Fuel contract to a lower price, the GMG decided to scout out the competition instead. After a steady period of negotiations, an agreement is signed in 550 A.S. contracting Kishiro Technologies to finance a Jump Gate to Sigma-19 in exchange for distribution rights. Construction would be completed almost a hundred years later, ending with the Gas Miner Ogashawa being stationed in the system, in the middle of the rich gas field.
Just a small thing, the gate and Ogashawa was created in exchange for Kishiro mining rights in Sigma-19, the technology to mine gas more efficiently was provided in return for exclusive distribution rights according to lore.

Can I know why is GMG based in Sigmas interested in PoB located in the republic of Liberty??
What are you going to do with it?
Sure, GMG wishes to open a Freeport for all stocks & shares of sirius, including tech that we're interested in selling.
This will not be a sell point for H-3 stock, but for all other stocks willing to travel sirius, as we state. We fuel sirius. So lets do that. InRP as well. As a Sovereign State we're legally in RP allowed to do this as we're financially rich and we should use this to our better features.
Suppose we can do deals with local miners? Share the wealth? Choices are endless.
