We find the recent matters regarding both the bans of Impy, Karst, Lythrilux, Mephistoles, Snoopy, and Swifty as well as the administration’s attitude towards any dissent on the subject deeply concerning. In addition, we find transparency and justification for the bans to be lacking. We do not find the canned and pre-prepared statements given by the administration to be sufficient in justifying their decision. Finally, we find the administration’s response of “If you don’t like us, leave” to be damaging to the game environment that we in the development team attempt to cultivate.
Before we can resume work on the mod we demand that the following terms be met.
The Discovery Development Team Wrote:1.) The Administration shall make available in full all forum and skype discussion which led to the decision to ban the aforementioned individuals.
2.) The Administration shall concede to any further terms laid out after the discourse and evidence requested above is reviewed by the development team, should we deem more terms necessary to continue work on the mod.
3.) This thread will not be moderated to an unreasonable extent, locked, removed, or made invisible.
Until the Administration meets our terms in full, the Discovery Freelancer development team shall officially remain on strike and no work shall be conducted. These terms are non-negotiable. Should Discovery’s administration choose not to acknowledge the above terms, you can consider our positions as developers to be null and void.

That is so sad ... You won't work on the mod and threaten the admin team to do your demands or you will help it sink !
I never expected that ... Actually the real loyal people show up in the hard times .. WELL DONE , you proven to the entire community how much loyal you are !!
I hope the admins show the evidence, because i am sure they don't run amok banning players without reason as you may think ... but then, if i am in your shoes, i ll just look at the ground and walk away because i wasn't loyal enough in the hard times and helped to sink the entire server by totally stopping the developing work.
Don't be upset by my opinion, just think about it and learn that not all opinions will be in your interest .. some won't and that's life, so get used to it instead of you or someone else start to make this thread 100 pages full of drama and nonsense.
Although I agree with this, I think that the OP's style is too serious. It can be angering and even humiliating if accepted, and thus undiplomatic. It rather sounds like an HF ultimatum to the LibGov than something related to a game. The communication channel is nice, but this is an ooRP thread and I think that the OP should be edited with a bit more friendliness, maybe even humour, to increase its chance of being accepted.
PS: I would like to express my opinion about a related topic that's come into my mind. It would be harmful if admins became devs as well, or vice versa, because in that case their power would be absolute and things like this wouldn't be possible. I agree with this "division of power" which prevents any of the two from doing whatever they like, but don't overuse it or abuse it.
lol I like how everyone assumes this is meant to be a nice approach right now.
It isn't.
This is the culmination of how discomforted the people who actively work on the game have become towards the acting administrative team. I don't disagree that the method might seem harsh, but there's honestly worse ways to approach this. Guess what? This is one of the better options right now, and while I no longer write infocards due to time difficulties, I'm in support of this.

Moreover, aren't you, people, requesting the trial by forum materials which are usually a "no" here?
They're asking for transparency in an extremely opaque and sudden decision that a lot of people feel is spontaneous and personal. It's made people uncomfortable. No one knows what to expect despite the staff promising more transparency.
We have to add more fuel to the fire if we want it to be actually noticed for once by the admins. Too often are issues swept under the rug by the team as they allow things to "simmer down" and hen never speak of them again. That's how all issues remain unresolved and nothing is accomplished. No, we have to make noise and show them we are angry and no longer have confidence in their decision-making. This is not some emotional revolt as people like to imagine. It is the logical response to injustice.

We don't want the evidence, we want the evidence to be provided to the banned players.

It isn't a matter of being noticed though. The admins see everyone up in arms. The previous approach of aggression and anger prompted their stonewall response, ignoring any and all feedback and complaints coming their way. They're content to sit there and reassure themselves that they did the right thing from how people were treating them. It's wrong, really, but neither side is in the right on how they're behaving.
