A while ago i asked to join Wilde. and ive been told im too unknown to join them. Now the faction is dead, sad but it was too exclusive and the existing members didnt seem to care that much to save it from the now happend death.
I guess I've a part of the answer: the ID. The faction was "protecting " this ID which allows many freedoms. So they would like to have members with a certain experience (I'm not saying you're not) but you know what I mean.
But yea. Maybe this restriction is responsible in part of that death.
Jokes aside, we had this one coming for a long time now. We could likely have farmed the activity if we had wanted to, but would it have been worth it or actually solved any issues?
No, not really. It would just have prolonged the life support.
There is little sense in keeping something alive just for the sake of it sticking around, especially when real life and other projects have to take priority, because they are more important and/or simply more fun for pretty much everyone involved.
The faction has existed for a good 10 years without any breaks. It was a good time with lots of great people, many good RP encounters and some fun fights. The individual stories likely wont completely stop there, the faction as an official faction on this server definitely will.
What do players do now if they want to play an infected Rheinlander that doesn't get shot by nomads? What happens to Wilde ingame assets? Can we have a nerfed public Wilde ID?Preferably one that's called neither "Wild" nor "Wilde" because both names are kinda stupid names.
There is still a official Wild faction in the game that has taken operation in the space left by the dissapearence of Das Wilde. The assets remain ingame as there is still a Wild faction using them.
