When you flee from Bretonia and Tobias comes and help you, when you are near kusari he lefts and you go right out in open space. There you gets attacked bu a F**KING Giant fleet of Reinhlanders. But suddently a group of Hackers comes and fire like 3 shots each on the Battleship, AND THE F**KING THING NEARLY EXPLODES. i dont know what you guys think but i thinks its pretty weird
Also.. a funny thing. When you return from the nomad lair with the power cell, King is flying an Anubis. Yet, in the cinematic of landing on Toledo, he is in a patriot. I think he F1'd in space and switched ship after you landed:lol:

Mephistoles
The two Rheinlanders who blow up that battleship who was blocking a jump hole in bretonia, they cloacked but they had Rheinland Valkyries with starkillers, not bombers the bombers aren't in the vanilla Freelancer.
' Wrote:Rogues were originally going to deal in both artifacts and Cardamine, but where changed in some aspects, and not others. I believe I've heard rumors that Rogues MIGHT be going back more neutral, but I'm no developer, so I don't know.
If you use HardCMP to look at the game files, you find the Rogue ships listed under...Corsairs.
WTF. Most odd.

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
When you and Juni escape into Bretonia, Bounty Hunters are neutral to you. Despite the whole "Every Bounty Hunter in the Colonies are hunting us".
And, ships get progressively stronger. BALANCE WTF ISSUES!?
Rheinland>Kusari>Bretonia>Liberty
Liberty will get WTFPWN'T soon. Also, the vanilla Titan is the best ship in the game. I enabled it to be bought on Manhattan, and played the game with it, never needing to buy another ship.
Also, I find it funny that all the generators for base shields are conveniently placed outside the shield. It's like they are begging you to destroy it.
Lastly, I may be wrong, but a Dyson sphere is designed to be built around a sun. So where's the sun? I only see the giant base in the middle. (which is even odder considering on a Dyson sphere, you build either on planets inside the sphere, or on the inside walls of the sphere. Waste of resources to build a random floating base.)
Additionally, when you enter the Dyson sphere in campaign, you end up rather near the middle of the sphere....not near the edge. So the entrance magically transports you?

There is a star in the centre of the field, and that base was a hypergate controller.
' Wrote:Actually, that should make sense. Before the events of Disco, the Rogues were the main smugglers of artifacts into Liberty, dealing through the Lane Hackers, who dealt with the Hogosha. In recent years, though, artifact interest has gone down, though, not completely disappeared, in the Rogue's eyes due to political pressure from the Outcasts.
There is still an Outcast Artifact smuggler wreck in cloud in Galileo.
