Sonja Noticed that Michelle Blushed a bit as she Spoke about Doc Holliday. "maybe she is Closer to the Right one than she Thinks" Sonja said in her mind and Chuckles a bit as Michelle Left the Room. soon after she got really Tired and she Drifted away into a Deep and Peaceful Sleep. she had a Nice Dream about a Warm Day, Sonja and Niki were on a Planet and there was another Woman she Couldn't see the Face but she knew this woman was Close to her. they were on a beach and had a Loot of Fun.
Niki had Cuddled at her Twinsoul, this Day was really a good one. Sonja was Finally awake and would be fully Recover. she had to Listen to what the Humans said and even when she couldn't talk with them she could Understand them. this Michelle Woman was Kind and had a Good Heart and the Strange Man that had Safed her Twinsoul was a Good Person too even when she could feel some Sadness in him. after a while where she had Listened to the Calm Breathing of her Twinsoul Niki Fell asleep too and made a Happy Purr.
after a while, Niki woke up as the Door Opened. it was a Behavior she had Learned to warn her Twinsoul if Danger Comes, but it was just Doc Holiday. he entered and Niki Watched over his Movements she looked Calm but her Muscles were Ready to Attack if he should Hurt her Twinsoul. but he just looked after her Head Wound. as he Sits Down in the Chair Niki Decided that she Likes him she Stands Up Stretched herself, Walked over to John Holliday and Jumped in his Lap, and Laid Down with a Happy Purring. as Michelle entered the Room at Midnight she Found Doc Holliday Asleep with a Sleeping Niki on his Lap.

Michelle smiled at the sight of Doc sleeping with a cat. She thought it was very sweet but was very quiet in the room. Sonja was sound asleep as was the cat. It wasn't the first time Doc fell asleep in a chair in a room. She figured Well if he's in here, Sonja's safe so she found a blanket and spread it over him. He had a light snore as he was in a deep sleep himself.
Off shift for the night, Michelle retreated from the room and pointed out Doc sleeping to the nurse on duty. Both smiled and "awwed." Michelle then retreated to her own quarters.
As Sonja wakes up the Next Morning she heard a Purring sound from the Corner where Doc Holliday Sleeps. for a Second she was Confused as her Half Asleep Brain thought Doc would make these Kind of Sounds, but then she realized that Niki wasn't in her bed and as she had a wake up Fully she knew who makes the Purring Sounds. as she Realized that Niki Sleeps under the Blanket on Johns Lap she had to Giggle, it was a Warm and Friendly Sound.
as Niki heard her Twinsoul Giggle she Purred even More and got out from under the Blanket and Walked over to Sonja where she greeted her with a Happy Meow that meant "This Human is a Comfy Pillow, but you are Better." she then Cuddles at her Twinsoul and enjoys the Love and the Cuddles she gets from her.

When he woke up the next morning, he felt a bit embarrassed. While it wasn't against policy for staff to sleep in a patient's room, he never did. His whites were wrinkled from sleeping and twisted a bit to one side. His eyes had that morning look and he had a nasty case of cotton mouth. Taking a few minutes to pull himself together, he noticed Sonja sleeping with her cat. Quietly, he exited the room for his own quarters and a shower and a change of clothes after which he went to the cafeteria for some breakfast. It was here he spoke with a lot of the staff he didn't get to see during the average day. Even then, most knew better than to not bother him too much until he had his caffeine intake.
While he tended to his own needs, breakfast was served to Sonja. Warm milk and a small tin of canned fish was brought for Niki. Michelle was off for the day so another nurse came in to check her fluids. She wasn't the conversationist that Michelle was but she was pleasant enough with an easy greeting. As she left, she informed her that Doctor Holliday would be along shortly to check her over. For the moment, she had time to herself and breakfast.
Sonja was really Hungry after weeks of Sleep and Survival on Medical Feeding she was happy about the Breakfast. it Consisted of Bread and some Jellys and a few Sausages. she also had a Can with Tea, the Same Michelle had Served her Yesterday. she was also Happ that they thought about Niki and her Litle Companion Purred Happy as she ate the Fish and Drank the Milk. "you are a Very Lucky Kitty, they really Spoil you here." she Chuckles and enjoys her Meal watching Niki in Pure Heavens.
Sonja loved it to have some Peaceful time, she had no Fear and that was a Wonderfull Feeling. she Cant Remember why but it felt like it was the First time in a Long Time that she had this. Sonja had Sit in her Bed as John Holliday Came in, she gave him a Bright and Happy Smile and even Niki lifted her head and gave him a Friendly Meow. "Good Morning Doctor, I Hope Niki Didn't Bother you to Much Last Night? she Must Realy Like you, normally she only sleeps next to me." Sonja Felt already a bit Stronger today and she had Hope her Life would become better now.
for the next Question, she needed some Curage but then she takes all her Bravery and asked "Mischelle told me you help people and that i.... that I could Study here to help people too." she looked a bit shy and played with her hands "But I have no money, at least not that I know..... b..but Niki and I could Work to Earn a Study." she was Realy Nervous and Blushed, she didn't know why but that was Important to her, she wanted to help other women that were like herself and Michelle.

For the moment, Doc ignored her question as it wasn't the first time he heard it. This wasn't the time for it. Being that Michelle was off for the day, Doc assumed her medical needs. The young nurse assigned to her was quite new and was being tutored by Doc himself a little.
"While a male doctor examines a female patient, we keep a female staff present," he explained. I take it that you have read her charts?"
"Yes, Doctor," she replied. She then gave a rundown of her injuries, what treatments were administered and what the doctor's orders are for follow up.
"Very good," Doc replied with a smile.
With her present, he began examining her wounds which involved pulling back her coverings. Before he pressed anywhere, he asked his young nurse what to be looking for.
She lightly touched the spot where a tube was inserted into Sonja's ribs to re-inflate her collapsed lung. "Although it has pretty well healed, sensitivity to the area and checking lung capacity."
"Yes," replied Doc. "And how do we check lung capacity?"
"Either blowing into a spirometer or through a blood sample for oxygen content," she replied.
"Very good," he answered with a smile. "For today, we use the spirometer." The nurse then administered the test, having Sonja blow into the tube as hard as she could. Her results were very good.
Sonja's wounds no longer required bandages. The scars will still fresh but they too were looking very good. The healing bones in her arm and orbital bone still had a few weeks time to finish but the fact that she was eating and drinking on her own prompted Doc to remove the fluids. Doc just smiled at Sonja, "So long as you keep a regular diet, I will keep the IV's away."
He then turned to the nurse, "Gretchen, if you would get me a wheel chair and a robe for her, I would be most grateful."
"Yes, Doctor," she replied and left to honor his request.
"It is time to get you out for a bit, my treat," he told her as he pulled her covering back up.
Sonja understood that now was not the time to Talk about her Future, she was a bit sad that it wasn't Michelle who made the Checkup. the new Nurse was nice but Sonja Liked Mischelle more. nonetheless, she was interested in what the Checkup would say about her Health. even though she had Sleep the most time she felt the urge to get out of this Bed and to Stretch her legs. she Smiled as the Doctor said her Lung would heal well, but the Test was hard for her. her strength wasn't fully back yet, but she smiled as it would go better. as the bandages came off and she saw the Scars for the First time she got a bit sad, they would always have them.
While Sonja got Examined by the Man with the Hat and the other Nurse she watched everything they did from the Nightstand. she had Watched over her Twinsoul the whole time and she would not stop now, she had Won against her her her them and is now Allowed in her Room. and she would Continue to Fight for her Twinsoul and to make her happy again. she had Suffered too Much in the Past, she made a Nice and Friendly Meow into Doc's Direction meaning "you are a good one, I Like you." before she Gives Sonja a Kiss with her Sandpaper Tounge.
after the Checkup, Sonja Felt relieved, as John had found her she was Sure that she was as good as Dead. but he hadn't given her Up and Saved her Life, she owed him her life and she was thankful for that. "I would love to Get out of the Bed, I don't know I have the feeling that I am in this Bed for a way too long." as the Nurse Brought the Wheelchair she helped Sonja into the Robe and then in the Wheelchair While Doc Holliday Gentlemen he is Left the Room. as the Nurse brought Sonja out she Smiled at John with Niki on her Lap. "I am Ready for an Adventure." and for the First time in what felt like Ages Sonja Giggled.

It had been awhile since Sonja had stood on her feet so with Doc supporting her from one side and Gretchen from the other, Sonja found herself standing on her feet. She tripped a little only to be caught by his supporters and they took some small steps.
"Move a little," he instructed, "your legs need to move."
They walked her to one side of the room and then the other, slowly but surely. They would do this a few times, reassuring and encouraging her the whole time.
"Good, good!" he said. Then, supporting her alone and a bit from behind, he instructed the nurse to position the wheelchair behind her and lock it. Once done, Doc gently lowered her into the chair.
"Thank you, Gretchen, I will take it from here," he told her.
"Yes, Doctor," she stated as she left the room.
He then positioned her broken arm on an arm rest so that it was stable and put a safety belt around her waist. It was obvious safety was a big concern of his.
Then there was the cat. What could he do with the cat? He couldn't let it roam free about the station and he had learned that trying to secure it in a room was pointless. Then, suddenly, Gretchen returned with a cat in her arms, setting it on Sonja's lap. "I believe this belongs to you," she said. "She was in the hallway." With a snicker, she again left.
Doc said nothing in response, letting out only a sigh. It was true in his mind, one cannot train a cat.
With that, they left the room and headed out for a tour of the base but more to the point, getting her out a bit. He had no surgeries scheduled for the day and Dr. Brandt was on call. Doc's rounds wouldn't begin until later in the day so he had some time, time he used to get to know a patient and be a gentleman if for only awhile.
Sonja was Suprised by how weak she was, and how much Strenght it costs her to Move after a Long Time in Bed. she Needed the Help and started to walk with small steps. It had Cost Sonja a Loot more Power than she thought to Move again after the Weeks in Bed and so she could only walk a Few lengths back and Forth before her Legs had started to Shaken and her Muscles Protested. it was a Bit Frustrating for Sonja but she understood that it would need time to get her old Strenth back.
Niki watched over them she was sad that her Twinsoul would need help Like a Kitten to Walk and Meows to encourage her in her Try to Walk, at the end of her Twinsouls Walking they sit her in a Wierd Chair and Left. and before Niki Realized it she was Alone in the Room. "when will the one with the Hat learn it, he cant Separate me from my Twinsoul" she thinks and Searched for a way to Escape, she was quite Skilled in Breaking out now and mostly the Easiest way was the one that Worked. she Just used the Door, she had Learned pretty Fast how to Open them. but as she was Outside she was Captured by the Nurse, She was too confident to notice the nurse. but Niki had the Luck of the Cat and was Brought Directly to her Twinsoul where she Cuddles in her Lap.
Sonja was Happy as Niki was back with her again and Smiled a bit Brighter as John Holliday went on a Tour with her. "Even when I just woke up Yesterday it feels good to come out of the room. I am excited about what you will Show me." she knew that she would never Again Trust Men as she did before, but she could feel that she was Safe with John. she Looked up to him and Smiled "don't be Mad at Niki she won't make any Problems I Promise it to you, she just wants to be With me." she Pets her Litle Companion and made her Purr, the Litle Furball was Clearly at Home and wouldn't Move. she enjoys it way to much to get all the Love from her Twinsoul.

They made small talk as Doc pushed her down one hallway after another. For such a small base, it seemed larger than it was. It was actually taller than it was long so a trip up a turbo lift was common. Much to his approval, Niki seemed to just remain curled up in Sonja's lap. A lot of what they were passing were operating rooms, intensive care units and recovery rooms. Small cafes were scattered about as people were constantly coming and going and it was convenient for them to grab a drink on the run. Coming out of another turbo lift, they passed a large window. Behind it was a large scanner type unit over a flat bed. On the bed was a badly burned man sedated in a medically induced coma, so badly burned that recognizing him as a person was difficult. He was naked as the large bar began passing overhead and red solid laser light sheet touched every part of him. It moved slowly. Whatever flesh it passed looked like new skin. Doc smiled with pride as he explained it to her, watching together as it worked.
"We call it The Rejuvenator," he began. "It was a gift to us from someone many years ago and we were able to replicate another. The other is aboard Med Force One."
His smile grew a bit, "It is simply an awesome machine. Its only drawback is the amount of power it uses. We can only use it once a day and we only use it on cases like that man."
They sat watching as the bar was now starting up the man's chest from the base of his neck. He also pointed out that the man was levitating.
"Powerful jets of air keep him afloat as it were so that the lights can get underneath as well. It is also good for severe scarring on someone. As I said, it is simply incredible."
Normally, he was on the other side of the glass but not today. The doctor inside waved to them as he worked. Doc was beaming with pride as they sat and watched.
