Both actually.... sometimes i hit F3, goes to toilet, some minutes later its still flying around... other times it just starts hitting against one of the towers (not the quickdock one).
Oh and, can you make Osirises in Eta to stop ninja pulse/gunning at 4k range from waypoint?... This is the fourth time that i do a mission just to get my shield raped before i can even see the ships, and my hull is almost down before i they appear at all (i have a sarissa with cap 5 armour, so i can normally kill 8 npc osirises without much troubble)

This is an issue of turret ranges, as the NPCs use the same guns as the players. Can't change that without changing the guns players use, which won't happen. My advice; Go evasive as soon as you hit 5k.

Consider whether this is truly not within the possibilities of in-universe realism and merely "ooRP" in the sense of server rules. I strongly disagree with classifying this as a bug; perhaps a reflection on the inadequacies of us as players, or at least the lack of a better system than the one we have.
This is related to the cruise drain.... i found a bug, tried exploiting it, but its not so reliable that its worth depending on... and its usually, only working with bombers and smaller
This is how to do it:
Engage cruise, reach 350 speed
Engine kill
Turn ship sideways
wait a little
REGEN
oh , did i mention that it works only at special places....
This is tested with 3 ships at the same place - Omnicron alpha, Tau 37
Sarissa - Does not work
Trident - sometimes work
Falcata - usually works....
Falcata and trident have been tested in some more systems:
Kyushu, falcata - usually wont work
new tokyo, both - usually works
kepler/gallileo, both - sometimes work
Sigma 13/19, falcata - usually works
I found this great against npcs, but if you try to pull this off and get CD'd you kinda "restart" the regen timer... that way it would be no different from disengaging cruise....
So, hope you guys can fix this.... (without putting me on the rack for trying to use it)
Long time since I've been on here, so I'll make this as brief as possible.
I recently got a new computer with Vista on it, and just put Freelancer and Discovery 4.85 on it. The game's working fine and all, but whenever I open any of the menus on it, such as game options, commodities, etc., the graphics get all glitchy and random text appears going in all different directions. Is there any way to fix this? (I've got the resolution set at the highest the game will allow. I tried lowering the screen resolution and nothing worked.)

This problem is normally a graphics driver problem. Updating to the latest version may help.

Spaceship Crew commodity has a metal plate texture instead of a picture of a crewman.
Problem persisted through several installs on multiple machines. It's not just me.
