So old snac can return and people can get to have their fun while using it to wreck BC components because it was never meant to shoot at them, but getting access to Akhetatens is where we draw the line. Questionable at best.
Not only that, but you're also restricting all players to generic tech, and specifically BCs being restricted to three (3) (lollmfao) main battery options while so many codename ones exist is just uncreative. What a wonderful opportunity this would be for people to try out certain codenames (new or existing) to see if they like them and want to invest into getting them, especially the new Deep Omega material ones that will likely be extremely expensive to invest into.
What a disappointment.
Good work gatekeeping a really fun ship out of one of the few combat events featuring Liberty and good work giving BC players so many options to pick from.
Equipment issues with Royal Flush should be fixed, and the deep Omegas escape is fully set-up. I guess in true disco fashion when we have to crunch towards a deadline, things slip through the cracks. Thanks for your patience, and let us know if there are any other issues to keep in mind for tomorrow.
The Royal Flush will continue until 7pm UTC, but permadeath is enabled at 6pm UTC, so if you die, you die. The Oubli will be a target for tomorrow, when everyone will hopefully be ready to go at the start.

If it makes you feel any better, the Ahketaten would have gotten farmed by Cougars just like every other capital ship the Liberty side brought.

I quite loved the lack of Akhetatens in this event. It was beautiful.
Need help with Omega 97.
How to pass this system? I have tried to fly in different directions, but the ship always explodes after 3 seconds.
Any ideas?
Deep Omegas. Quite Literally the best event I've ever participated. Beautiful New Systems, perfectly presented with the scenario of the event and the race to survival. The gradual gravity effect of some of the anomalies and the Black Hole is quite the experience. The Powerlessness when fighting against the pull of Fischer 1171... I truly felt that it was a matter of "I have to escape this monster!"
Kudos to all involved, both in the making of it and in the event design. I would encourage everyone to play this event for themselves, and I feel sadness for those who couldn't make it for either day of the Omega Event. In this regard, I'd ask if we can run it over for another day, Monday for example, so that there's opportunity for those who were away over the weekend to participate.
