The Kusari Empire urges both sides in this argument to stand down and let cooler heads prevail. This hostility between the GMG and Rhineland has brought nothing but sorrow to both sides in this. I once again call on both the Gas Miners Guild, as well as the Government of Rhineland to work toward the normalization of relations between your two groups, which would benefit Rhineland, the GMG, and Kusari.

Tzuchao-san, we are the fishermen. Please pay no further disrespect to the Repex.
To everyone: Tzuchao has agreed to temporarily restrict the Ronin to Sigma-59. If anyone tries to hunt them there, the repercussions will be severe. Sigma-59 is restricted.
As my officer Naomi-chan said, we need to take a step back from this incident and discipline the pilot(s) responsible, not heave disrespect towards eachother.

It looks like this issue has been resolved, the extensive damages to my ship repaired. RepEx was simply distraught that its ability to pass through Sigma-13 was being challenged, as well as no Ronin support when my trading vessel was being engaged by pirates. Lets hope that these misunderstandings will no longer occur so more violance and arguements will not occur. I hope to be safely passing Sigma-13 on my next trade run.
Konnichiwa, this is Acting Guild Master Azuki Tamagochi.
It is heartening to hear that matters have cooled here.
There seems, in this instance, to have been miscommunication, as well as misconception as to the rights and responsibilities of the people involved.
What then is the responsibility of Guild ships in aiding Rheinland trade ships? The answer is there is no such responsibility.
So a Guild vessel did not come to the aid of a Rheinland trade ship passing through our space? Can anyone remember a time when we DID come to their aid?
It was at the insistence of the Kusari government, many years ago, that non-Kruger Rheinland trade vessels were permitted to pass through our space.
And be under no delusions, that is all you will get from us.
You will find no harbour at our ports.
You will enter and pass at your own expense and risk.
You will provide for your own non-military escort.
This is how it has been since the end of the war, and until such time as relations are normalised this is how it will continue to be. When corporate entities of Rheinland presume to rattle their swords in our faces, I fear that normalisation is still quite some time away yet.
And for the record, should Republican Shipping be so bold as to send mercenaries into our space - the boon of passage we have granted you will end. I am quite sure that your competitors will step in to cover any shortfalls in trade to Kusari.
In concluding, some of you may know your history, others may not. There was a time when a Kruger survey ship was attacked by pirates and destroyed. Nearby Guild ships did not intervene, and were themselves accused of this crime.
And the resulting conflict? Well I am sure you can all remember THAT particular history lesson...
if any member of the gas mining guild ever allows pirates to destroy a republican trading vessel, or helps destroy in any way. then blood will flow.
and Republican will bring its escorts and mercenarys wherever it pleases, whenever it pleases. so i suggest that you do not threaten to end our passage through sigma 13, for we here at repex know how to ruin everyones day.
and i think that the goverments of both kusari, and rheinland would be vary angry when the trade stopped flowing.
and history never falls the same way twice.
Commander Dietrich Godfrey.

I have new information to this matter that adds still more confusion to the general mess.
It seems that right before the events, and I am talking about one minute , two most, a slaver ship was identified by my pilot, Togashi Hoshi. I confirm that a vessel hauling slaves was sighted as I had the shortest glimpse of it and its grim cargo.
I remember everybody that two Ion storms happened in all the time this incident took place and its a known fact among us that my pilot has low tolerance to their effects. I believe it was, again, a misunderstanding and an error of judgement, tough it helps to justify the strange request to drop the cargo.
So I am giving Togashi Hoshi the benefit of doubt, this once, and will assign this whole thing to a tragic error of judgement.
To Commander Dietrich Godfrey: I was more then reasonable in this whole incident, nobody will deny that I did everything in my power to put an end to this. Your own Captain, Vash Manegoaonu, can testify that I did what I could do to lessen the effects of this whole misunderstanding.
As said before , repairs were payed (from my own pocket), disciplinary measures were applied to the whole Ronin, including me, since I have docked all my Ronin ships in our Guard System, was even considered to disband the group due to the shame upon us and the stain in our name, but nothing seemed to satisfy you or the other outlanders.
Your arrogance and general tone removed the stain of shame upon us, since you weren't able to stop in due time and continually added gasoline to the fire.
You continued to add provocation after treat after provocation, this :
Quote: and Republican will bring its escorts and mercenarys wherever it pleases, whenever it pleases. so i suggest that you do not threaten to end our passage through sigma 13, for we here at repex know how to ruin everyones day.
is just the example of what I consider totally out of limits.
As a result of this last provocation I will proceed the two weeks of detention , only now will be two weeks of intense training and drilling exercises. If you bring military escorts we will act accordingly, and don't blame it on GMG, we will take full responsibility.
If pirates attack your ships we will assign gold stars for artistic explosions,if you call for help we will have music too loud to hear your screams.
If this is what you want , this is what you get.
Do you have the courage to humble yourself, as I did, and stop this right now or are you really going to continue in this rampage until there is no way that this matter can be stoped to reach its ugly end?
Azuki Tamogachi, I believe that you are mistaken about our issue. We are not demanding protection or GMG escort from anybody, we were simply infuriated that my vessel was attacked and destroyed next to a station in Sigma 13 right in front of the Ronin. The Ronin also indirectly helped with the destruction of my vessel as they disrupted my vessel's cruise engine while it was fleeing from the pirates.

I find this entire affair distressing. The free flow of trade between Rhineland and Kusari is vital to the Kusari war effort, and any threat to it, is a threat to Kusari. The free reign that pirates seem to have in Sigma 13, and the apparently rampant threat they pose to lawful traders there is a large issue, a large issue indeed. What furthers my concern is the GMG's Guild Master Azuki Tamagochi, comments, absolving the GMG of any responsibility for protecting shipping passing threw Sigma 13. I will be calling a meeting with Shogun Sulu, to discuss the possibilities for extending KNF and KSP patrols into Sigma 13 to protect traders passing from Rhineland to Kusari. This is obviously not my first choice, nor one I want to make, but it is vital to Kusari that the flow of goods between Rhineland and Kusari not be interrupted by constant pirate attack, and since the GMG has declared itself unwilling to police the system, we need to consider what options we have to protect traders there.
Obviously the best situation would be for these groups to get together and deal with these issues in a responsible way, which does not further the hostility.

Gentlemen, I believe this matter has been overdone to the farthest extent possible.
Now, first of all to the RepEx head of security: Take a deep breath, and a step back. Having a legitimate complaint is one thing, but uttering threats through your teeth against our organisation for the third time in history really doesn't help your cause at all. It certainly isn't RepEx's god given right to transport goods through Sigma-13, I am sure Kusari wouldn't be amused either should your company's hired guns decide to stir the pot further. Let me put this perfectly clear: Don't even think that we will be intimidated by your imperialist Rheinlander sabre rattling ways.
Now, you are allowed right of passage through Sigma-13 to Kusari and back as per the agreement we have with the Kusari government, and the GMG will still attempt to keep security along the trade lane, as well as actively work with the Ronin to introduce them to our security protocols. This unfortunate incident will then hopefully be the one and only.
Second, to the Rheinland Military: I understand that the gunboat mentioned is a rogue vessel, and its actions are in no way endorsed by the admiralty. The Guild Masters of the GMG would appreciate it greatly if the captain of this gunboat was disciplined, and no such incident happened from here on out. As of right now we will not be pressing the matter further. Lets hope we can close it at that.
I will assume that we can deal with this little misunderstanding like honourable men. This applies to all parties involved.
