Jesus Christ why all this pedantry about cruising to catch ip? Dont oyu have anything better to do? They were doing a training fight?
And... someone explain to me what is the sense in the 'no cruising o catch up' rule? Doesnt make any sense to me.

And... if u can fraps smoothly at such a high resolution... what is your system? Dual core? 64 bits? 3 GHz? Buffer to second hard disk? Tell me all ur tricks to make it smooth. Everyone.

And its not fraps, remember that the videos taken are uncompressed, the amount of data transferred to your hard-drive is rather large you know, so, what you do is try to make less data, in this case, use smaller in-game resolution.

I use 800x600 and capture only a small part of hte screen, still cant get framerate above 10 per second. Ever try to pvp with 10 fps? Aint fun.

Other people use high resolution and capture te whole screen, yet their videos are ery smooth. So I am interested to hear what systems they have and if tey have any tricks to make capturing smooth.

why do people have such a hard time believing I use fraps! I am using fraps on 1680x1050 pretty much smoothly. My specs are the reason:

4GB Ram
Duel Core Athlon 64
512 MB NVidia GeForece 8800 GT OC <- i reccomend this card to anyone, its the best card ever.

My computer is simply excellent at multitasking. I can run EVE, Freelancer, and portal side by side with little noticeable change. I get 22 FPS with the original Crysis on all very high settings.

Tips:
1. Kill all unnececary processes like printer UIs and turn off antivirus guard.
2. Low-Resource consumption security programs are your friend.
