Personally I'd suggest doing something to break up the 'box' shape slightly.
Granted Gallic cap-ships seem to be boxy by nature (all of Freelancer capships are boxi-ER than, say, Star Trek)

But most ships aren't 100% symmetrical along both axes. In this case, perhaps increasing the vertical size of the front or back, as well as a bit on the horizontal.

But thats just my personal opinion. To me a ship looks more cargo-ship, less war-ship the 'boxier' it gets.

They all have those same rails and a very similar body structure without enough differences to really make them look unique enough IMHO. I mean look at how different the cruiser and the BS are, or the GB. They have some similarity but to me seem much more unique relative to each other than some of these new ones.

Judging this on it's own accord though, I dont feel it fits with the other gallic ships really, it has similar elements but the same principles that seem to have governed the design of the other gallic ships... I just dont see enough of them here.

No offense tenacity but I have to agree.

The Gallic Tanker proposal is decent, but thats probably the only thing i'd approve of with its similarity to the battleship.

Perhaps, instead, go the route of the Cruiser's design.

Spread out the pieces the braces connect to in the back.
Combine the two front parts where the symbol is displayed, or leave as is.
Combine the two bridge towers, or remove one leaving it a tad asymmetrical.
Make the front hole an open-ended hangar bay (like whats been done on some carrier designs, like the 4.84 Lib Carrier)

Few minor changes to the kitbash

Well, another idea is to go the route of the battlestar models, and replace the pylons along the sides of the ship with launch tubes...

Unfortunately... That doesnt solve the whole deal about it having two rails on the side of a box.
But meh, it all depends on the model, words are one thing but how it actually looks is what matters

Uh... I'm not sure a widened battleship makes a carrier.

The Japanese did it. They turned one of their Yamato class ships into a carrier at the end of World War II. It was sunk a week after completion, but it existed.

I like this. Good model.
