Rant: Corsair Raids on Manhattan

The order DOES NOT come into Liberty looking for a fight, nor do they come into Liberty to KILL civilians that they are trying to protect.

Corsairs ZOI does NOT include Liberty.

Sounds like a PVP fest set up for someones benefit other than the Liberty Players.

raid was my idea... i started it, it was suposed to be Order raid but there were only 3 order ships in raid and Corsairs helped us....

That "raid" was beyond OORP, matter of fact when you came into NY (without any kind of RP) you opened fire on ANYTHING that moved! You attacked without warning and without thought (which also proved costly because we dropped every single ship you had).

Oh, and don't get me started on people F1ing on your side of the battle...

I suggest you read over this thread a few times before planning another raid.

I have about four and a half gigs worth of video from that "raid".

Not ONCE in it did I ever see a single engagement message from the Corsair ships.

That is just disgusting. Every time I blinked, I half-expected to see my little AI drone in pieces and the Respawn window flashing up in front of my eyes.

I'm trying to find a site to upload the video to, as Xfire has a ten minute limit on video files, and mine went well over it.

I have screenshots of them being in NY, but there is now way to show that they opened fire without warning.

I don't really care anyways, we took down every single ship they brought to NY. That's good enough for me.

Also, if they do try something like this again, I'll be willing to bet someone will take the time out of their day to report whoever is involved on the Corsair/Order side.

Anyways, this is just going to turn into a flame thread, Fletcher... Best to just let it die.

The 'Sairs cant raid Buffalo or any other pirate base. Reason ? Their fricking cruisers dont fit in asteroid belts or god forbid the Badlands.

But yeah, why the hell raid the people that buy your Artifacts and are completelly out of your ZoI and cant hurt you in any possible way...

Obviously the Corsairs feel unloved because they're not supposed to be in the most populated system, New York. So they stopped by for a visit.

Actually I believe the Rogues don't care as much about the Outcast/Corsair mumbo-jumbo. They deal in Artifacts too.

However I did warn the Corsair Council that any Corsairs I catch in Liberty not escorting a smuggler will be decapitated and have their heads mounted on a pike outside the Hamburg Jumphole in Bering. We don't care about the war between the Outcasts and Corsairs, we do however care when Corsairs come to our space and start making a mess.

Liberty is not with in the Corsairs ZOI so they shouldn't be there ever. Outcasts shouldn't be in Liberty as much as they are either. They have, what, three NPC patrols that attack lanes in daggers? None of those are in California to my knowledge, and yet we have a mass exodus of Outcasts from Malta to Liberty.

I wouldn't say so. We are only worried about the Corsair warships entering Liberty, not the smugglers (except if your a lawful, then you worry:P).
