It happened more then few times that on mission BHG destroyers eat my Osiris. I cruise to waypoint and watch them shooting me while i get enough energy to fire. Now i will have to wait even longer that would make such mistakes deadly 100%.
Fighters could use long cruise to move inside bomber range before they move to capital range so they could use their guns before bombers get to target (+fighters)
Bombers have snac
Gunboats should just guard other capitals from bombers ...
Cruisers drop out of 5k move in to 4k and shoot
Battleships don't cruise
This has no effect if they all drop out in same time so they will get clustered.
Other way fighters could intercept bombers/fighters, bombers do their job. Cruisers pound from distance.
Anyway 1on1, 4 sec is better then 3 sec difference between c and bs. CD Bs cruise away and shoot and call for backup while you do that to save some precious time.

The old way was far better for BOTH classes of ships and for many people. The only thing this really helps is well... Admins.
And if cruisers are so GREAT at artillery long range, whats the point of BS's with this cruise drain? BS's primary function is to rape at close ranges. With cruise drain. No longer possible.

I am to 97% thinking its perfect. Just please drain it a bit slower, if you're maybe being disrupted. I start cruise and it went like "DEW!" down to a few percent Energy XD

Actually, the entire point about the cruise engine changes is to make it so battleships can't cruise up to smaller ships and rape them. Now if the BS cruises up to a gunboat or destroyer, that gunboat or destroyer is out to dodging range before the battleship can recharge its energy to fire on them. With these changes, the Gunboats and Destroyers that have been cruise-jumped by BSs constantly no longer have to worry about it.
Also, weren't you just arguing about how the engine drain makes battleships useless?
So are they useless, or are they gankmobiles that can cruise up to anything and 'pwn' them with ease?
Any change is good. I didn't mind BSs cruising into battles (unrealistic .83.84. and first .85 versions), I didn't mind first cruise drain, I don't mind this one either. Makes all sense to me and more changes are introduced which will force people to RP and to use capital ships the way the are meant to be used, better in my opinion.
P.S. I don't mind Cam's avatar and signatures either, since new Firefox has much better image filtering options.
