For the record Id say that when it comes to LN indies (hell count [LN] in this too) Jimmy's one of the top RPers, equal to Gafwmn in how he comports himself ingame.

That said, a zoner ship Id have to say is a bad idea.

As for ships that could be properly RPd for this...........

Lib carrier, its freaking huge and could RP a mobile base quite well. Downside is its freakin huge.

Osiris. Liberty design, however liberty has pretty much abandond it after it's theft for some reason. However the game never (that I remember) mentions that all copies of the ships specs were stolen so it is very logical that liberty would have a FEW of them, if for no other reason than operating in the omicrons on occasion.

Spyglass. A stolen liberty recon design. On that basis it could work.

As for the IMG Carrier..... I could see the IMG selling one to the LN for concessions and cash. Liberty coprs have a very small presence in coronodo, the RP could be that Liberty leaves IMG alone there for now, plus the IMG freeport im Magellan.

Congratulations, you've perhaps accomplished a goal you set better than anyone else in this community. You have effectively made no sense in trying to make a special RP.

Jimmy, if you ask people what direction your special RP should take, all you will get is the responses as above. Calling possibly the best Liberty indie a "lolwut" (do you want to define this term, by the way?)

If seeing someone do something made you think those three words, and not in a funny way, they are probably a lolwut.

Seeing 'Liberty Captain' and 'Jinkusu/Aquilon/Zephyr' in the same sentence made me think the above, and in a very humorless way.

I honestly don't care if he is considered Liberty's best indy. I'm basing my judgement off of what I see here in front of me, and it ain't too good at the moment.

Eh... looking to expand RP does not make someone a LolWut.. seeing something unexpected does not make someone automatically a "lolwut"

I suppose in theory any person with a special RP is a lolwut in that case, since most special RPs have a element of "What the (bleep)..." when you first see em.

I guess we need to keep the server RP the same, else we'll all be lolwuts.


As for the topic... for the fortress.. if you believe the LN caps aren't appropriate... I think maybe the next best thing is an IMG ship or a Spyglass (say the stolen prototype's sister ship, that got mothballed, but reactivated and refurbished for your purposes?)

Tough call, but I'm not sure what kind of circumstances would allow for the zoners to hand over one of their ships. (Though, I'm not sure of infocards and stuff.. it would need more research... but wasn't Ames a liberty station before the zoners moved in?... in theory one could RP the zoners trading a ship for that station...)

I agree with both sides, Dab has come on too strong but in saying that I don't see how anyone can ask as a Liberty Captain for the Zoner Juggernaut, It's the biggest thing in Sirus excluding the useless Barge. If you somehow got your hands on it I have no clue how in RP you can explain a stealth Juggernaut as I can easily see it from over 15k away, Not to mention that amount of space, If radar hit it how would you explain for the giant moving black outline on the radar,

Saying that, Maybe go with a more Liberty Design as most others have already said, Or change the Captains RP's Maybe your captain becomes a spy and infiltrate the Order, Works his way up the ranks, Slowly sneaks his crew into the Order and then Steals the Battleship.

Xing/Yue Fei was never an [LN] Admiral...

The [LN] also do not have the strategic need for both the Osiris or the Spyglass at this time. We have four battleships, three dreadnoughts and one carrier, and three members of high command. Any more would really be stretching it, and we dont have a real need to expand the high command...
