Liners vs. Gunboats?

I was plundered by gunboat pirates. That's wrong then.

so if we pirate a Liner can using Cruiser or BS?.......and talk about continer transport..if that ship using lvl5(fighter's turret) turret, firepower is over a GB.......so we counte that is a GB or what?

From what people have said, only a transportner using capital ship guns (gunboat, etc.) counts as a capital ship. Fighter turrets don't.

I have a better way to look at it:
Answer these questions in yes or no format to determine if it can be attacked.

1.Does it have over 1500 cargo space?
2.Does it have cargo, transport, freighter, or liner in the name?
3.Is it carrying goods?
4.Does it look like it's capable of full scale combat engagement?*

If you answered yes to questions 1-3, you better wish you were a pirate becuase right now you hit the jackpot. Now go and pillage that sucker no matter how big or small you are.


*This represents the ship being of combat status. Would it be used in war? Otherwise saying if it's a warship and not a civilian ship.
