Yeah, life as an indie Junker is sweet. You can smuggle, you can trade legal goods, you can sell out or extort smugglers, you can supply the Kusari pirates if you are feeling daring, you can sell intel or serve as a handy distraction to pirate groups, you can play both sides of the fence and be an overall sneaky little bastard.
Let me put it this way: In over two years of being on disco, and out of all the characters I've made during that time, there are only two that I've kept for almost the entire duration - my order character, and my junker.
PvP isnt big for junkers, dont go into the faction expecting to fight. You should be trying to avoid fighting. Get yourself a transport and smuggle. Things are even more interesting when you interact with lawfuls and others while smuggling (not interact as in get close enough to be caught, but chat with them, be sarcastic, crack jokes that piss the lawfuls off, etc. etc.)
bahh. everyone should be afraid of phantoms not only junkers. Ottherwise one additional thing:
there are 2 types of players in the disco. One who hates to be a junker, become sick of it's "anti-pvp" style and quits his/her junkers chars in no time
and the other who cannot ever feel comfortable in any other skin than a junker after felt the taste of beeing the green bastich.
Get a salvager, a pilgrim or a p-trans and try it for yourself. Im sure you will decide in less than a week for yourself wich pack are you belongs to
