Chainfiring is easier than even making macros. It's pretty simple. Say you have a Behemoth with 8 2.00 Transport guns. So, here's what you do.
Weapon Group 1:
1. Transport Turret 4
2. Transport Turret 4
3. Transport Turret 4
4. Transport Turret 4
Weapon Group 2:
1. Transport Turret 4
2. Transport Turret 4
3. Transport Turret 4
4. Transport Turret 4
5. Transport Turret 4
6. Transport Turret 4
7. Transport Turret 4
8. Transport Turret 4
When you begin combat, fire with Weapon Group 1. Before the second shot, though (preferably 1 second in), switch to Weapon Group 2. Viola, you are chainfiring as all of your weapons will be firing, however, the first four weapons can't fire until 2 seconds has passed. This is the easiest and most-legal way to chainfire, and I also killed both Zelot and Agmen doing exactly this in the same fight while they both had BHG bombers. (ACK NEIN! DIE FEURIGER KOHLRABI! TORPEDOS LOS!:D)
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.

You can either *Pew... Pew... Pew* and waste two squares at a time
or
*pewpewpewpewpewpewpewpewpew* and waste all of 1/6 of a square at a time, in quicker succession, resulting in the loss of two squares. But chain firing at least includes a (very) small time where your energy recuperates all of a fraction between each shot.
Or you could 2.00 between each shot where it recuperates all of half a block. In the end, if your aim sucks, it's not going to matter if you 'spray all over the place' with your frothy cannon of manly destruction because the energy usage will be more or less the same.

Or you could keep it in Weapon Group 2, and set a key to fire Weapon Group one. Hold down the WG1 Fire key, and with WG2 active, just start firing.
