Noooooooooo, the only ships we should be comparing it against are the ones it was meant to be compared against. The ships it will meet in combat. The Bretonian battleship, Outcast Battleship, and Outcast Dread. It's never going to go up against a Rheinland, Valor, or Legate. So why does it matter what their stats are in comparison? Balance has nothing to do with comparing two ships that will never fight each other. I've heard our balance team say that time and time again.

Seriously, continuing this topic - will do nothing but a flame war - again. Just watch and see....

Nah, people will complain that some ships are easier to see and will ask for rebalancing the colour against the backround

Before they took that away all I could think of was that it was tempting to do that just to mask mortar fire.
When I realised that all I ever wanted was to fly a huge green ball it was already too late :(

I'm pretty sure they'll face Valor's on occasion, what with gallia being neighbors with them come the next version.
The idea that you balance against only certain other types of vessels is antithetical to the idea of balance itself. Either things are balanced and fair or they are not. It's absurdly simple.

Very true.
Fine. In which case it wins even harder against all three of them. The thing is unstoppable. A Ranseur MIGHT stand a chance, but the other two are toast.

I still have one.
I rarely take it out for PVP, it sits as an RP ship for experimental technology.
