while it's true that there are no cruise disruptors on cap ships, it's not much of an advantage for fighters. Especially considering that cap ships tend to ignore being hit with a disruptor in the first place. Least i know the rhineland cruiser can take a whole salvo of CDs without slowing up a bit.
Mooring fixtures are a part of what I'm planning to do, however not sure that I'll do that in 4.74. Maybe later. Unfortunately no one wished to help me on Pathfinder, so I have to rely on myself only... and search on TLR isn't working... :(
I won't be able to add tractor beam to existing ships because it's like an inventory item without an icon. So I can only include it for new ships. For bretonia battleship it was missing (already fixed), and about large transport... didn't know until I read about it now. No ships above 2000 cargo space can have tractor beams I think (without any modifications of cargo handling mechanism - ?). So all ships that have more than 2000 cargo will not be equipped with beams, like trains and large trains.
I take that to mean we'll be able to pilot large trains soon? That would certainly make the large transport not be #1 anymore.... except for certain operations assuming it can be fitted with a tractor beam.
Hopefully these new freighters will have some obscene cost and cargo holds to match? sounds great!
Also, cap ships can be hit by cruise disruptors, the trick is finding out where the ship will register a hit. That being said the large train is about 70% immune to cd in my travels, but if you hit it in just the right spot, it drops out of cruise every time.
