John appeared behind the doors and was about to step into the room, but remembered that it is now a hospital. Unsure if he would not break the sterility of the room, he decided to speak from the doorway.

"I hope I'm not disturbing you too much, doctor, but I have some information you might be interested in. We finally got all the data of ship's incoming traffic.

One craft proved to be very interesting. It's a Starblazer-class civilian craft, arriving here from no-where else than Hawaii's twin brother, Shetland. It gets even more interesting, considering that the pilot of that craft had a very rare and valuable item - a planetside visa to Gaia. From my experience I can tell, people who can afford the visa don't fly mere Starblazers.

On top of all that, the guest, his name is Andrew Ross by the way, signed in quite a large amount of luggage here on Hawaii. Shetland's logs, however, have no record of any luggage at all on his departure. All this is a bit too complicated to be a coincidence..."

John took a deep breath before continuing "...especially since crew was not able to locate neither the man nor his belongings. He is gone without a trace from his cabin despite the lockdown.

My people are still digging up what they can find about him and I hope we will know more soon."

"That is... interesting. Maybe we should inform the Bretonian Police. We are doctors afterall. And I am sure they have access to more information.

Now then miss Jennet, I would like you to stay in a room close to here. Do not let anyone in without permission from me or my people. The same goes for getting out of the room."

He aims his head at a nurse that's just walking past.
"You there, make sure everything here is clean and sterile again. "
He makes a broad gesture towards the bed.

"Of course, doctor, let me know if I can be of any service" Jennet said as she walked out and went looking for a nearby room.

John nodded as Jennet passed him, then turned back to Dr. Whitesun and shrugged: "I forgot to mention, that our missing guest had the cabin in the deck where the outbreak started. So... what you have to deal with now is quite likely to be of Gaia's origin. That planet can be insane at times, so be careful.

Information requests have been sent out. Meanwhile the crew is trying to locate the passenger. maybe he has some information about this disease."

John paused for a moment to observe the room, then continued: "Let me know if you require any materials or help, all resources of both liners are at your disposal."

A few Medics walked in. Carrying boxes with inhalers and the medicine.
"Ah there they are. Analyse the medicine, and see what you can do with it. Put the inhalers over there against the wall. If you need to test something I will provide you with what ever is necessary.

Now I will need to make a call with our lab on Ames Research Station. I will need to keep them up-to-date and send them all our results, maybe they can help us further."

"I will try to see if it possible to wire a communication terminal to this room, so you don't have to walk anywhere to make any internal or external communications", John appeared from-behind the doorway, where he had stepped to let people with boxes pass.

"A technician will bring it here as soon as they finish. Now, if you excuse, I'll cease disturbing your work and resume my other duties. Passengers have become slightly less nervous since your arrival, that's a good sign. Feel free to contact me if you need anything."

When the captain would walk through the hallways he would note that a Medics guard was patrolling around. He seemed to be searching for something or someone. He held his gun in both hands, prepared to be required to use it.

When the captain would continue his walk he would see another one. Searching, gun ready...

A bit further a small group of three guards are investigating at a certain door. Surely something must be going on if there are this many guards... and so busy...

"Well armed are these medics, ", John though, "I should probably let them do their work undisturbed... but a few questions to satisfy my curiosity won't hurt anyone"

Approaching three armed men with questions did not seem to a good idea, so John casually walked to where he had last seen one of patrolling guards. He stood near a bend in a halfway, quite sure that guard should be coming around it soon.

When guard appeared, John straightened his posture, stepped in front of guard and spoke in an official tone that he most commonly used for welcoming boarding dignitaries: "Good afternoon, sir! I am captain John Frial of luxury liner Crying Lightning, OSC. There seems to be some matter troubling you, can I or my crew be of any assistance?"

The tone was clear and with words carefully stressed, designed to turn other person's attention to the speaker in crowded lobbies. It sounded a bit louder than necessary in the quiet hallway. "I hope I didn't startled the guy and he won't shoot me in the leg by accident", a though flashed in John's mind as he was speaking.

The guard looked at him.

"Nice to meet you, sir. And yes, you can indeed help me. Andrew Ross, we need to find him. We are confident he is the source of the trouble after you told Doctor Whitesun about him. The man is dangerous that much is clear, but we need him. If he is the source, as long as he is still causing it this disease will keep on existing."

John relaxed back in his everyday posture,

"Ah, you are looking for the guy, too? Excellent, the crew started some search efforts already, but due to disease having struck more than half of them they're spread thinly with their primary duties already. So far they were only able to conclude that he definitely is not in any passenger cabin of Hawaii. That still leaves us with more than half of the ship."

John stepped towards nearby public computer terminal,

"You might be interested in a picture of him. We have a few taken with automated camera upon his arrival here."

A picture of men in late forties walking hurriedly down a hallway appears on screen, angle suggests it is taken from hallway's ceiling. He carries two large suitcases - one in each hand - and a sort of cube-shaped parcel wrapped in cloth under his right arm. A rather thick beard is the main facial feature, along with unruly brown hair. His eyes are hardly visible due to acute angle of the shot, but generally the image leaves an impression of a very tired man.

"May I ask, have you found anything of interest in your search so far?"
