Dev team is convinced Bottlenose is fine right now, backed up by own experiences using a group of them to blast everything in Minor/Gamma/Alpha to pieces.
Core leadership is convinced it sucks. Core leadership was picking ships for the Minor event :crazy:and decided not to use it cause it "sucks".
Arguably the best way to test if it really sucks is not to test it.. ehh what? :lol:

If used right it's utterly painful. I saw a 6 Cerberus Bottlenose that was turning and dodging supernovas. In the end he embarrassed my kraken sabre plus a EMP bomber. So yeah, if flown right that thing is a monster. No need to fix something that just needs skill.

I think the new one is pretty well balanced. The child in me misses the old one. But you can't have everything...
