As a Corsair, I'd like nothing more than for the differences of these two mighty peoples to end and for an alliance to be forged, but sadly, for all the above reasons it won't happen

Besides, the Corsairs already have an alliance with the Bounty Hunters Guild to work on forming an empire in the Omicrons and Omegas....

On a more serious (Sirius?) note, the grief we took from our Non-Agression Pact, which was done in RP and has actually ended up working out rather well in the grand scheme of things, would tend to mean that there won't ever be a United Hispania. Well, that, and the Outcasts still worshipping Nomads. (I know, Dennis, but I have to spread that rumor every chance I get - someone may end up believing it at some point...)

That would be an interesting twist. Although its not like overpowered, uber Gallia needs an ally in Sirius.

I'm still not entirely sure why the corsairs and outcasts are in a full scale war war with each-other in the first place. In vanilla they only ever fought over who's turf the Sigmas where. Other than that they both had bigger issues to deal with.
