A: Molly's could always use more money
B: IMG need more resources to recoup the Holmon Outpost damage and losses.
C: Less hostilities between both parties is a boost for both.

Pact with IMG would be a smart step for whoever establish firm Molly leadership in the future.

There already is a 'pact' between IMG and the Molly, well the MMC at any rate since there isn't much of the Council left. For those that havn't been around Dublin recently you'll often see a fair number of IMG at the Molly fields. In exchange for letting them mine there IMG has been helping the MMC move it's own ore, since there isn't a huge amount of options for Mollys, and at a better rate.

So, in the area of IMG/Molly relations, things are already going well.

As for Cork, well having a habitable planet certain reduces the drain on reasources, but what you are talking about is basicly reterraforming an entire planet. This wouldn't be cheap or easy, even for a fully formed goverment like Bretonia, and I dare say that theres a reason why Harris was chosen, being terraformed in the middle of an ice field.
Also, being in the middle of a war I'm sure Planetform is having enough trouble with Harris let alone helping a terrorist faction reclaim theirs.

That pact seems like a small 'taxed' mining operation, though seems logical for the Mollies.

As for Cork, yes it would claim vast amounts of resources, time and money. Maybe not reterraforming, more like reducing the radiation levels of the planet and then tuning the habitat back, kind of like a less miraculous version of a Fallout's GECK system. It would vastly consume the Molly's resources, but having a planet is better than stations isn't it?

Yeah, Harris in an ice field sped things along or just made it cheaper for Planetform, and as said being in the middle of a war would considerably set Harris back, and their income. While I can't see Planetform going for a full terraforming project, but what about an 'under-the-table' deal where they send some materials and experts to help them. For a lot of money of course.

Planetform is a business, and it needs money when they sources of income are being hampered.


Also, for those saying it was a mining accident that did in Cork, whats with this infocard?

Following the destruction of all life on Planet Cork by the Corsairs, all survivors fled to nearby Colerain base, the Military HQ of the Mollies freedom movement. Colerain was not outfitted to maintain so many refugee's, and plans for a civilian station where quickly drawn up. The station was named Kilrea, after Shamus Kilrea, the man who helped to evacuate thousands of refugees from Cork's surface just before the orbital bombardment commenced. The inhospitable and volitile world of Cork, which Kilrea orbits, is a reminder to all residents of Kilrea station that evil lurks in the hearts of men, and what that evil is capable of. It is a driving force, for all Mollys, man, woman, and child to never let such a catastrophe ever happen again. Kilrea Station orbits the desolated planet Cork. For generations to come, it will be the home for all Molly civilians.

EDIT: Maybe the Mollies could get the IMG to ship the terraforming materials from Harris to Kilrea Orbital Station, that is the materials that Planetform is 'selling' to the Molly's.

Molly's pay for materials to Planetform,
Planetform gives it to the IMG,
IMG ships it to the Molly's.

Looks legal, all three get what they want.

Unfortunately while majority of you think money can buy everything, it's not right. Money can't buy reputation.

Planetform isn't after easy or fast money, it needs reliable reputation to get hold on contracts and to have the best, forward experts in terraforming. Try to guess what civilians of Bretonia will think if they find out Planetform, which was preparing a few planets for them, is now making another one for their murderers? I suppose there'd be massive public panic, everyone'd try to sell off his property on Harris for cheap and realibility of Planetform would quickly go down, alongside with a couple of goverment contracts.

How is that even possible?..

It's same as Molly in BAF, kusarian in BPA.

Also, that's pretty stupid. Planetform would not do it since:
1. Mollys would not have enough money.
2. Planetform would not help terrorists.
3. That's plain stupid.

Well, my Planetform character, who's also the CEO, is Kusarian. Problem? Too bad.


And speaking from Planetform POV, we would reluctantly provide a small bit of help if the Mollys stopped shooting up our ships and threw more fire at the Gaians instead. Although Elven has a good point about Planetform's PR if the public found out. But then again, we also have a fleet of ships nobody is supposed to know about, so those would work fine for this.
