Turret zoom is a bit weird. If you push Ctrl and push the mouse wheel up, it zooms out all the way. And then obviously the opposite to zoom back in. I never had any issues with it. You don't Zoom in on a target though, you zoom in and out compared to your ship. Also, trying to aim while zoomed out is a bit difficult. Your turrets shoot wildly if anything goes passed your cursor.

Well, after a complete reinstall Without new DSace the resolution is still screwed

That's always been the case - try shooting from turret mode inside a roidfield with small roids. If one passes behind your ship but over your cursor, your turrets try to shoot it instead.

Oh, don't worry, I get that. It's just more so now if you zoom out. It also gets a lot more cluttered and difficult to see every piece of debris or asteroid whist zoomed out, which increases the issue.

Can someone explain to me exactly how I should do with unpacking and which folder exactly? I have Windows Vista.

where you unpack it does not rlly matter

go into your freelancer folder then in DATA folder

copy the folders you unpacked and paste them IN the data folder.

when he asks you to integrate the folders say yes.

when he says "file name already in use" or something like this choose "overwrite"

done.

So... cruise drain is awful in this version as well...

over 9000 years to regen once you're done, like 20 seconds longer than originally...

really... wtf?
