I was thinking the same thing they shoud have the blue prints for both the osiris and spyglass in the archive and be able to rebuild them, and dont tell me the blueprints were stupidly on the ships at the time of being snatched.

Why would you continue to build a vessel when the designs could have been distributed to any number of pirate or terrorist organisations throughout Sirius?
Essentially, the advantage of new technology/surprise is lost if the enemy already knows the weak points of the vessel.
