' Wrote:So what are you looking to powertrade in this ship anyway?
Not particularly, but If I'm running food from Stuttgart to Crete, it makes sense to ship as much as I can, especially since the profit margin's not that high. Ditto for any trade, really.
Any "powertrading" I do will, most likely be long and/or dangerous routes, so the aim is to maximise profit for the run and get out fast. I prefer short low yield runs to high risk high profit ones.
' Wrote:Whale is not an option for IC ID anyway. Your only choices for 5k transports (without a tech request) are the mastodon, Shetland, or stork.
Mastadon is liberty which means problems in Rhineland. That's a no-no for the trade routes I run, so it's all down to the stork or the Shetland. I know I'll have problems in kusari space with the Shetland, but I'm not too worried about that.
Can anyone think of pros or cons for either of these ships?

Well Toaster's right. Why buying 5ker like Stork for 180 mln while you can buy Crane with 4500 cargo and 90 mln...
If you really want a 5ker, go for Mastodon/Shetland/Stork
y crane for 90m if u could get an IC tanker 4.8k for 70-80m? lol

Yup. Playing in conjunction with another player who has a whale. We both go, then he docks and sells. I transfer my cargo. Rinse. Repeat. Vice versa in house space.

So you want an IC powertrader transport that allows you to trade everywhere without any consequences and absolutely diminish any chance of interesting role play because you only care about the credits?
