Well, it's not all it was cracked up to be. Flew out from the rough strip in Leeds today, I can see where the boys are coming from. That thing's just nasty to take off from. Nearly clipped a wing on final, and tents aren't exactly my idea of a good time. Still, sit tight for now, I'll see if we can work with the BAF to get something a little more permanent on the ground.

In the meantime, space itself's pretty quiet. One pilot was heading through Tau-31 to Kusari. Seeing as he was either incredibly brave or stupid, I came along to run some recon and make sure he didn't get himself spaced. Gallic forces on the other side of that gate are heavily entrenched, multiple fighters and capital assets all over the place.

Watch yourselves if you head out there.

And Major Dave, welcome back to duty. I'll grab a stretcher at F.O.B Winters for you before the Airmen swarm the depots.

As you are all no doubt aware, there's been a... A serious incident involving Command.

I'm not quite sure how to say this, but... Well. We're it, ladies and gentlemen. There's been some serious gaps left in the structure following the incident, but we need to keep going. I recently conducted an inspection of the LNS-Ravenswood, our recently assigned base of operations, and it should be ready for deployment in approximately one standard week.

Whats happened... Is... It's horrible, but we have to carry on. So. Major John Eagle. You are hereby promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. You'll be patched into the Command frequency ASAP. You've done well so far Lieutenant Colonel, now we need all the good people we can get.

For everyone else, they'll be assignments coming through over the next few days. I need everyone on station for this one.
