This is agent *cough* agent Stone reporting in.
I'm contacting you from the Kneph's medical bay.

While conducting a deep scan of Omicron Minor from the Kneph, we detected anomalous activity similar to the kind found near jump holes. We're not sure if we were witnessing the creation of a worm hole or something else entirely, we didn't get the chance to investigate as we were attacked by a small nomad force.

At first we were able to handle what the enemy threw at us, but the deep scan started to show more and more of this strange scanner activity. The opposing force grew dramatically in a very short amount of time and we were forced to withdraw.

Our getaway was not as clean as we had first thought. In every direction we ran, we encountered a greater threat. With seemingly no hope of escape, we activated our newly installed stealth field. As power was diverted to the stealth generator, our shields dropped and we suffered heavy damage. Some of our own ordnance was detonated, causing further damage and killing seventeen crew members. Eventually the stealth field kicked in and we slipped away.

We'll make our way to Evora for repairs. I don't think the Kneph will be in any condition to fly safely for a while and the Doc says I shouldn't be flying for at least a week, as you can see, the explosion of our missiles could be felt up even in the bridge.

This is Albert Pierrepoint of the second fleet prison liner Strangeways. We managed to get out before it really hit the fan. We were attacked by a Nomad scout group but managed to escape under the cover of a Cruiser, the type of which I've not previously seen.

We're currently holed up in Freeport XV undergoing repairs. Given the current level of enemy activity in the surrounding sectors, I think well be staying put for a while.

If you see that cruiser, thank them. They saved our bacon.

we sent two shuttles down and our fighter wing down, only 1 of our shuttles made it back and two of our escorts

we've lost life support on several decks and only 3/4 of our crew has reported in, we will precede to mu with the rest as soon as we get sub-light engines back on line.
