Quote:Noob question here, how and where do you precisely get Dilithium from? I'd be pretty interested in that.
You earn it from missions, by sending your crew to assignments and training. You geti t raw or processed. You have to process the ones you have raw from the assets menu. I believe you can also farm it but dunno where exactly yet. Oh there is also the exchanges where you can buy credits for dilithium (the Cryptic Coin one) and sell it for more dilithium etc.

Also, you get it from events.
There are events for both Klignons and Federation, lasting 0-24.
For example, there's starfleet event at earth, where you have to collect some particle fragments, and depending on how many you collect, you exchange it for dilithium, while event lasts. For example, particle event lasts for one hour, and you can collect 60 particle fragments (my best was 60, at least) 60 particle fragments = 1k (or 2k, dunno) dilithium.
You can find events at "Hail Starfleet" button, then you can scroll through them.

I was very confused at first since they didn't bother to explain some elements. After much frustration runnning around Earth Space Dock, I finally found the beam-to-ship button.
Now I've got a Lieutenant (6) Engineer... and the game is interesting me enough to keep me around. The pacing feels far less demanding than, say, EVE online which has time limits on quests and a constant drive to play every day just so that you can level up your skills.
I've found some points of criticism for the game; sometimes after a ground at area, I'll beam back to base and it'll still be set to shooting controls instead of rpg/running around controls. Another issue is the ambient sound changing when the camera is moved around the player, even if the player has not moved area (but the camera has). Also, the constant rumbling of a space ship/station leaves much to be desired as far as audio is concerned. The lack of music is disappointing.
Overall, the game has a strong Star Trek feel to it even though it's got all the obvious MMORPG elements. As I said earlier, I'm convinced enough that I'm going to stick around for a while.
Damn it...you all are going to make me give it another try...I got bored running around the rate maze pushing buttons. The space battles were...Meh...fly and auto shoot, .Yea..the damn Transport button got me to. Ok...giving it another shot.
:laugh:A Nova class, I like that ship model, and your adjustments to such. I went for a Vulcan tactical officer and bought a cruiser, moar firepower. ;)
