Order used to have only one home planet Toledo right? But it was providing enough resources to fill minor with caps. Now we have extremly hard times caused by destruction of home system and such a situations usualy force extreme solutions. Like quick rebuilding of the fleet at all cost to prevent being erased from pages of history, would be their priority. More over, Order never had as many bases and systems uder its control. And somehow they have menaged to built new shipyard with prototype inside. Mod creators done it that way, but some of you probobly know better. Its enough to say that if we want to stick into RP in so so way then why not just say that new and more tech advanced ship types are produced in purpose of low resources and numbers limitation. Everyone should be happy? Hell no! Ya got Eagle!? Stick to it and focus hard on it!
Then how about LSF cruiser? You dont like it as well? Then im waiting. Tell me please why it wont be reliesed? LSF... what? Im sure you can figure something out giving the evidence that mod creators simply dont know what they are doing.

Toledo was never meant to be providing enough resources for all of them, in fact Order was never meant to have that many caps, but there isn't really anything we can do about it, Order caps are free to use, and while that changes (which it won't) there will be always to many Order capitals.
Order Official player faction has all of it's caps grounded for 2 months, to reflect hard times of recovering from Toledo Defeat, we have rped recovery and stuff for over a month. Now about bases, Mod creators done it that way, cause there isn't really any other way, you can't add one base every 2,3 months or so, it needs to be done all the once, while rest is up to factions how to RP it out.
Order learned it should had more outposts in Omicrons to prevent another attack, and so they did it with outpost in Zeta, which is exactly that, an Outpost, cheap, small, uses minimal resources, not easy to detect.
Thebes was build before Toledo Defeat, construction started long time ago, and shipyard around it isn't really shipyard, custom model was made for it, which was suppose to be inhabitants pods, cabines, rooms for pilots, Captains etc. But there have been some issues with the model and we ended up being stuck with default shipyard docks model.
So yes, there is some illogical developments, but there isn't an easy way to correct them, (if there is a way at all) so or we can sit and think about how it sucks, or we can embrace it, and do our best to RP it as we think it fits.
Edit: To comment on topic about Thebes, it never should be flyable, not soon at least as inRP Thebes engines were powered by experimental technology based on Nomad Power cell, and during the jump from 100 to Mu, those engines overheated due to unexpected amounts of energy coming from power cell, and fried pretty much entire powercore, circuits etc. Infocard should say that, although I am not sure why there isn't any actually ingame. InRP Thebes was suppose to be massive ship, being one of the main reasons why special propulsion system was needed, but again we were told it is not possible, due to polygon limitations, while now we realized it was just an excuse for not wanting to do more work.
This is exactly whats going on.

Ok, corsairs snould never have had the Osiris, and um, without the Order, the Coalition wouldn't posess the Karl Marx.
As for ONLY ONE OSIRIS, it has been 18 years since SP. We have garnered enough time and resources for a few Ossies (INRP - those would be the Svizra, Arsephes (now blown up), Deviator, and Anath. Some indie ships might be considered as part of this, I cannot comment.
As for the LSF Cruiser: Same story as Thebes, only more probability.

And still: Order as one of most colorfull factions got cruiser, battlecruiser Geb and Osi BS. Think that some alternate capital even shoud be added. Many groups got it that way and Thebes simply fits me there just fine. It could be for example smalest dred in game (like Dred only for its name). It would fit well into Order ship line I suppose. I'v studied Thebes model and there is 10 weps hard points now, with possibility of adding another two ( this is just mine idea, there are places on each side of hull where turrent would fit). So Thebes could have similar or lower ammount of guns but stronger hull than Osiris for example. This is just theory or lets call it NERDFICTION :laugh:
I fully accept what you are saying about defeat, caps grounded etc. I even think that its a great idea and if you were one of those whe developed it. Seriously, good job and all respect to you Sir. As well as the others. I like current Ommicron status much more.
Still i dont see the point of sticking so hard to idea that it will never be reliesed. I agree it wont be today or tomorow but one day i hope ill be able to say: I'v told ya :yahoo:
