Understandable.

Mod notice: Refrain from personal attacks.

On serious note, I understand how XA feels about indies shooting their long time partners and not following their RP. But I don't think that trying to change the ID because of the actions of 1-2 groups is rational. Such groups usually last a month or two and they aren't the first and won't be the last to act like this.

See [EAR].

Remember that most DSE pilots are random "employees" and thus wouldnt know about the "secret deals" of their leadership...

Also... Surely Xenos get most of their supplies from the transports they constantly blow up...
Instead of spending Liberty Money on Zoner Comodities and thus draining Liberties ecconomy even further.
What?...

Really. What.

Nobody said about any agreement. Nobody but you.

Lorewise, Xenos have made a deal with Universal Shipping. Note, not Xeno Alliance with Universal Shipping Incorporated. Lore for NPC factions.

Even so though, DSE constructed trade lanes and Universal Shipping delivered gate/lane parts. So I suppose no company from Liberty should receive Xenos' ignorance.

"Official player factions cannot, under any cicrumstances, require another player to follow non-canon RP if that player doesn't want to."

You say that we were slapped by FR2 and about to be FR5ed because we shot the Zoners, who are supporters of the Xenos.

Okay. No zoner npcs or other patrols around our bases. Our NPCs shoot Xenos. No bases, as far as I can see, have vanila rumors saying ANYTHING about Zoners.

Please provide me with actual proof of the Xeno-Zoner alliance being canon RP and then we will stop shooting them.
Not to mention, how the fek are we supposed to know about your radiation pills if your comms are restricted to effing ames and XA.

Double edit.

Quote:[17:29:43] Raul: CLASS: Unknown
GRAVITY: Complete
DOCKING: Yes
AMENITIES: Limited
POPULATION: Unknown

This group was originally comprised of heavy manufacturing and mining workers within Colorado and Texas. Many of their ancestors also worked in the research station, which was a good employer for generations. But Liberty increasingly made money from its information technology licensing and Trade Lane associated monopolies rather than hard, manufactured goods. Over time most of the blue-collar workers became unemployed and were pushed to the economic fringe of Liberty society. As the Liberty rich moved to Colorado to escape the paradise lost in California, the Xenos were displaced to a small base in the mined out Silverton Asteroid Field. Once there the Xenos launched sporadic raids focused against foreign shippers.

Whenever they were captured they were sent to Huntsville prison in Texas, where cross-fertilization with other inmates only helped to swell their ranks. Xenos also hate the foreigner Outcasts that feed the habits of Liberty's morally corrupt rich. For this reason, most of those declared NCR for drug crimes are placed aboard the Sugarland to keep the two groups separate.

Because of the Xeno preference for other Houses' ships, Universal Shipping has actually benefited from the attacks and has lobbied the government to take it easy on them. It is rumored that some of their attacks on foreign shipping were not Xenos, but actually mercenaries hired by Universal to harass the competition.

There are two additional Xeno bases in the Independent World systems of Hudson and Kepler. Here the Xenos have been able to operate more freely, with only occasional Liberty Navy patrols and Bounty Hunters to secure the areas. They make hit-and-run attacks into Texas frequently, especially to attack the Junker base at Beaumont and confront Outcasts.

The Xenos are currently one of the poorest of all the criminal factions, so they have little resources to buy better ships and weapons. To gain a more stable income stream, they hope to evict the Junkers from Texas, and ultimately New York, and thus control a crucial market for Cardamine.

The Xenos’ love of Side Arms has brought them into conflict with Ageira, especially around its Detroit Munitions plant. They also regularly attack Junkers in the Jersey Debris Field of northern New York.

That is the vanila freelancer description of Nome. No Ames. No Zoners.

So wait. You are trying to shoot us because we apparently are shooting Zoners who have ties to Xenos since vanilla.
Show me where it says ANYTHING about your damn pills or your damned zoners. Get your own damn RP straight.

Vanila Xenos were enemies of everyone except the IMG and Zoners. But unlike the IMG, there are no vanila base rumors mentioning the Zoners. So we can only try and guess what their relations were.

The videos show a very narrow portion of what little we have in terms of RP. This is usually caused by multiple people online on skype.

When there are two or so people around, it is a different situation.

Join us and see for yourself, sir. If not, you can always close your ears and go AALALALALALA I don't hear you.

Wanna RP? Start with replying inRP to inRP messages in comms channel instead of idiotic "//Not while we use the same ID"
If you people decided to form an unofficial faction, it would be cool if you contacted us and said "Hey, we're here" so we could inRP tell you about current dealings.
Yet, you come in with one group, inRPly argue with the leader of official faction (which isn't bad from RP point of view but is strict idiocy from tactical point of view).
After a few days, you dump the [99%] tag and rename to Allerton. You blow up a base that was built by our closest ally to RP with us.
And yet, when I contact you through comms channel, to give you a chance to avoid the FR5, you answer with one line of ooRP. "Sorry guys, they were drunk" would be enough to settle this.

Also, when you state that you'll deal with FR5 by renaming the ships... I hope you meant you'll sell those and make another ones.

Strategy and tactics of xenos can be discussed inRPly. As to rules of conduct, everything I can do is to express my opinion - which I did in theis topic. As long as you obey the server rules and follow - even loosely - the xeno RP, I'm okay with that.
But if you decide to screw my plans and my RP just to show that you're good in bending the rules, rest assured that I'm not gonna be happy with it.

Once a Xeno - Always a Xeno

Official faction can bend lore. The lore is what you can see now.

Sadly, this sort of nulifies validity of the intention of changing ID.

None of my non-combatant ships have ever survived an encounter with XA either. That includes a variety of trade ships (including IC and Freelancers) and some low-level civilian ships that I use for scouting, all were ganked by XA with little or no RP. I dont see the difference between your group and these guys. One thing I have noticed is that XA leadership seems to think XA is high standards, wrongly, the ID invites a type of play, and the people who want to play that way use it.
