Register on the website and follow the instruction given there.
The game is free to play, WoT style cash shop (no gold ammo). Premium items are not the best items in game, only give you shorty cut if you dont want to grind for loot items.

Loot items are like FL named wreck items, best in game and only winning games can give you chance of finding any.

Yeah, I'm having a fair bit of fun with it, even after a bunch of games.
My only issue is that the gamemode is perhaps getting a little stale, unless there's more than the beacon one I've been doing this entire time.

Acording the devs, there will be more game modes. The current game is tuned for beta testing and balancing the game for release.
That said, lots of features are still not there or incomplete. Hence, the beta-

I played a few matches... And it gets boring for me pewpewing 24/7. I like space simulators for the story, the RP possibility behind it, not just to shot everything which moves. Still nice graphics, good handling, but I don't see too much possibilities in it... I don't see how can it be "Free lance" type. (If they ever make I'll be one of the first to try that part) Also, there are very few playing it yet and fighting against bots is meeeh....

But as people already have said, it's too much PvP for my taste.

It feels like a sluggish, more 'realistic' version of FL. I like it. The lobby-match system feels like World of Tanks. I'm having a lot of fun flying my Lynx Fighter- I leveled it up to level 2, and am about to buy the Lynx Mk. 2 when I get enough rep with the Vanguards. It's fun for some quick pewpew, though most of the playerbase speaks Russian so I don't understand a word. And the 'sniper' lasers kill me, even when I am dodging like mad in an Interceptor. Apart from those annoyances, the game is fun and fulfilling for a violence spree.
