Charles Richard Hall, the commander of BRF|HMS-Thunderer - he would rather die than retire, except if he hurts himself really bad, but then he's be able only to drool in bed. Not sure if that's a profession, though.
George Richard Hall, a BAF| lieutenant-commander - he would probably become a chemistry teacher, prison keeper, madhouse keeper, or it's patient, if he doesn't become a satanist.
William Richard Hall, the captain of Bowex)Lipton - the 1st variant - he gets rich by Bowexing, retires and does nothing, except drinking tea in a shade, on a grassy plain on Cambridge, and maybe has a bath a bit more often; 2nd variant - he bankrupts, asks his family for money, gets some, gambles it away and returns to a common Leeds bugger's life.
Olaf Fromm, the commander of RHB-Hvannalalshnukur - he's some kind of a spooky-fierce-viking-Odin-believer, and he would probably clean the toilets of Vogtland if he retires.
Edit:
Ahmed al Mustaffa, the commander of (former) OCV-Bahariya - he's already retired and he's living happily with his family on planet Akabat. He is now a Muslim priest, repenting of his sins made during his bloody profession. I'm planning to buy a liner in the future, name her LL-Bahariya and put her under Ahmed's command, along with 3 other captains (it will be something like an oligarchy). The Bahariya will travel around Sirius in search for new worlds to settle and find a safer and better home for the captains and their families.
