I second Altaris here- what is racism if not one race hating the other aka Nomad vs. Humans .... now Libertonian vs. Rheinland "racism" would need a different term as it is human vs human and in the end we all come from the same fist 2 homo sapiens

nomads are not racist nor speciest, and went far beyond genocide. They would have killed off everyting in our genus - cows, chickens, grass, wheat, grapes - anything that would have sustained us. their intentions were 'Solist'. they wanted to exterminate EVERYTHING, not just humans.

xenophobia is probably the correct term, but we all know what's meant by "racist" in this context.

according to the lore, the nommies started the events of SP as they were not strong enough to take us on mano-y-nommie, but the derring-do of one Edison Trent and his magic torch artifact forced their hand, and led to them being blown away by the magical forces of 'lets end this story right here, and get this overdue game on the market already'.

i'm not an expert in the RP of nomads of Disco, but i believe that they're incline towards the subtle manipulation path, rather than direct confrontation, havng learnt what havoc one generic hero supported by market forces can wreak.

i speak with tongue in cheek, but essentially the purple-troll squad is thankfully a thing of the past, as it led to excessive OP'd PVP: one nommie against 4 gunboats, 3 bombers and 6 fighters and it STILL walked away. their ships have been nerfed, and the corresponding change in their behaviour/rp has been both marked and welcome.

i think the nommies should have stronger shields and weaker guns, so their current fragility is no longer hampering their ability to RP in systems beyond the lonelicrons.

I wanted to say that Nomad RP is not racist,but It does contain 0,1% of racism.The thing is that Nomads are just viewing us as a threat.

I beileve this thread shouldn't exsit.

I will put an Real Life example.
Imagine an Extraterrestrial UFO lands in Washington D.C.
First thing is:Are their intentions friendly,or hostile ?.

Nomads viewed us a threat imidiately when we met them.If they don't look like us,they don't act as us < < Nomads thought of that probably.

Its in human's nature to explore.Sometimes we go at places we shouldn't.

Unfortunately, when they penetrated its crust, the inhabitants that lived inside viewed us… as a threat.
Trent: So why not just attack us outright?
Juni: Because we’re too strong. They had to soften us up a bit. That’s why the Chancellor started this war in the colonies.
Orillion: So when we’re sufficiently thinned out, they can come in and mop up the rest.
Trent: So the Chancellor is a host body for the Nomads, too?
Orillion: Isn’t it obvious? Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a briefing to attend. Colonel Zane?
