Its one of the reasons why I generally just stay the hell away from these fights these days. I remember the days when these fights were fun, seems various backhanded tactics from the RM these days has put me off them completely.
After multiple LNS, [SSL] (= [HW]) and SFC| invasions into New Berlin on their LiDreads and LACs, including the siege of Krupp, RNC folks decided not to give a damn about it as well. (But I think the latter, SFC one, happened after the RNC's went "screw it, let's invade NY as well)

Will make JDs utterly useless. They're only and only good for escape. And once you start jumping, you, most often, can't turn it off - or you won't be able to jump at all, since you'll go below fuel requirement in several seconds
If you'll tell me that maintaining a JD with a set of coords, as well as (in most cases) downgrading your armor just so you could get to the battlefield 3-5 minutes earlier than you'd do normally - I'd say you have too much free time/cash.
To OP: Instead of going QQ that Liberty Dread is too UP, and then going qq that JDs are too OP, I recommend to get 2 friends. After you get 3 cloaked LiDreads on the field, it's irrelevant if enemy got a JD or not - and how many JDs they got will be irrelevant as well. Ask SFC|, they killed my Dragon in around 23-27 seconds (although, I know you're talking about RMBS here, not that KuBS, but it's not an impossible task either.)
Also, due to fuel constraints, the moment enemy battleship begins charging jumpdrive - SWITCH FIRE TO ANOTHER ONE. Because chances are, he can't stop it, or he won't be able to jump at all. (I'm specifically repeating this point twice, just in case you didn't figure out that little trick from 2 paragraphs before)
