' Wrote:I've been waiting for a map like that for about 5 weeks now -.- Looks good, although I'd make the Bretonian flag thing abit more obvious.
You're right, I guess I should make it more visible.
This is actually just a crop-out of a Sirius Sector map I'm currently doing - it's about 25% finished, I think. I've got the Barrier and the Walker nebulae, as well as the drafts for the Edge and Crow nebulae but I still have to do some detail work on those two.
The most work goes into drawing all those jumpgate/jumphole lines though, as well as the system backgrounds (e.g. the reddish tint behind New London or the golden cloud around Dublin star).
Originally, I thought about each system having its correct number of suns in the map, but I think that'd give me an overkill, mostly due to systems such as Pennsylvania, with more than three suns.
Yeah, dunno how that happened. Like I said, tutorial's abit meh to me. I'll give it a shot, see what happens. But first imma finish my PM thingy I'm working on. Makes me feel competent
Looks good, Jamez. The only thing I would change would be the shadow-y effect under the text, or more precisely where it overlaps the engine fire exhaust thing. Other than that, it's excellent.

Yeah, I love that. Having the shadow overlap the flames (which are a source of light after all) just seems to make the text blend in a bit badly with the rest of the image. My sig doesn't compare, but then it's only meant to express a message:P.
