I am pleased to report that colonization efforts of Planet New Westminster are underway, with several dozen people now living at the western tip of New Vancouver. We have levelled a section of forest to begin construction of a small shuttle landing pad and township.
However, we have found... something interesting while taking out another chunk of forest a tad more inland.

Hey boss..
I believe that big chunk of rust belongs to Saronsen; he was bragging about it with my sister yesterday. Ask him if we can strip it down, we could recycle those biodomes.
I may have had little experience putting massive ships through an atmosphere and overworked the engines just a little. I bet with a nice new paint job you can do something with it though. Only a couple of years of ocean-planet rust.
It's not as fancy as my partyboat, but hey. It's bloody huge.
Might want to make sure there's no crazy new lifeform growing in the biodomes though. It might just be an overgrown forest in there too.
And yeah, the guns are still strapped to it. I wouldn't suggest trying to turn her on without me being there.
There's a 'Panic Mortar' button in a few places.
And only I know how to handle that lovely lady. Touch it and I break your hands.
I may have listened in on your transmission, yeah yeah shouldn't be doing that, but I may have lifted some codes from a certain person when I visited the Metropolis.
Seems there will be a slight delay in my arrival, some really fun people showed up! Except they turned out to be mean, and not so fun. Anyways, I was called back to New Caledonia due to the emergency, and long story short, it's gonna take me a while to get to Kyoto. Don't expect me to arrive anytime soon, not only did I pull an about face, I'm also going to have to dodge some patrols and take the long way around. My guns are thirsty, my departure shall be swift, and blood will be spilt. Oh and uh, when you say strike Gallia, I don't suppose you mean in the steal their booze and women, do you?
...No?
Eh, it was worth a try. Besides, I hear that Gallic stuff is nasty. And they can't produce a half decent alcohol either.
Jokes aside, I'm departing New Vancouver now, refuelled and ready to rock. Hope I don't have to use this ammo, I really do hate it when my ship gets beat up. War, crime, and violence. Deaths for no reason at all. There's no peace in sight. I should be arriving before the others, considering the events that took place earlier. From what I saw I was the first one out of there, and I'm not even sure what conditions the others got out under. Okay, we're leaving now! Bye bye!
So, after checking up on everything we need to do, I gathered that Ainu needs some love, and Kyoto wants us bringing them stuff too. Easy.
This stuff was nabbed from transports in and around the Taus, so it was going nowhere useful for Kusari or the Dragons. First off, a hefty load of Consumer Goods for our boys in Kyoto. It was pretty difficult flying this bloody tank in. Fun though.
And here's the goods and the time of them being unloaded.
Drop-off Time
Next off, Ainu Depot shortly after with some Food Rations in tow. Docking inside was.. Not possible with this bad boy, so I just moored and unloaded from there.
It'll be steak dinner for them tonight.
