Why should the RoS be treat different?
And to add to Ilya's post, RoS stuff is just a copy of open use OC tech while nomguns were kinda OP
Zelot was a part of the admin team, if the other admins would disagree I am sure it would be undone. Yet even weeks after the failed activity check active Aoi Iseijin ships were looked for and bastilled when seen flown.
If their ships and weapons are just copies of the outcasts ships, then the RoS members can of course play with sabres and krakens/wyrms or simply the ID will be opened.
If there is one exception then why shouldn't there be more exceptions like wild factions not needed to follow the rules of the official factions and stop using tagged ships in order to gain the minimum activity time.
There is also one more difference between the RoS case and the old Aoi Iseijin case. The Aoi Iseijin had the in game activity highly going above the minimum of 30 hours, but not on the tagged ships.
What we can witness now is a special IDed faction that does not need to fulfill the basic criteria of an official faction.
So from this there is only one result: Special IDed factions do not have to have 30 hours of flying time and so there is no need for them to use faction tags.
