sorry im late getting to this, player bases have been made independent of the discovery economy and believe it or not they are now much easier to get parts for building and maintaining, as for the easier to blow up part, no thanks, they are hard enough to worry about without having to worry about them being popped over night during raid while you are sleeping, in particular if your faction is,
A: small
B: Part time, (due to real life, work ,school ect )
C: Both the above

and its also good to have them back , I have had a whole world of fun with RP around Player owned bases,
